Cooldown visually doesn't countdown for consumables.

What's the point of this feat.
while using this feat you can infinitely stack Smolder/Rimefire, this obviously isn't intended, is this feat still a work in progress?

1. Arcane powerfield doesn't benefit from the extra 0.5% damage increase from A Step Above Mastery feat.
2. Arcane powerfield does 50% weapon damage, not 50 magnitude as stated on the tooltip.
3. Lightning bolt still randomly misses targets when used.
4. Clunky cooldowns on arcanist. Basically you cant control your cooldowns on arcanist due to a visual bug or whatever it is, but when you try to use an encounter thats apparently off cooldown, it goes back to showing about 2s left then sometimes it repeats and goes back to 1s. Its the most annoying bug preventing me from playing that paragon right now. Just not enjoyable.
Btw when are the patchnotes coming out?
Cunning Ambusher is giving less bonus than it should.
Should give 10% but is giving 7 ~ 8%
@kevfire (unsure about the real forum handle) and myself figured that out, confirmed by a few more.
But we do not get any follow up quest(s)
But I'm the Kevfire that bayaz is referring too, also wondering where we get more treasure maps from.

> Arcanist: The cooldowns when using Arcane Empowerment are bugged, lots of times they pass cooldown and when you click them they go to 1-2 secs cooldown again.
This bug is live on mod 18 too, same as in console.
It appears not only during Arcane Empowerment daily, also during your normal rotation. Very randomly.
Born of Black Wind: SW Level 80
Arcanist relies too heavily on RNG, it's bad by design. Specifically, the odds on the bonuses are too low, and the bonuses maybe too powerful, it only ever plays out in very long fights and it's totally random if you get your bonuses during the dps check. In other words, there is no skill to your ability to do dps, it's just rng. In other games abilities and effects that turn a match into rng races are banned in certain formats other than casual, I supposed that would be fine, if Wizard had other viable builds.
In short, Wizard needs a major rework (known issue).
For AoE, ya could just go back to the way Directed Flames worked in M16 and fix the bug were chill procs DF (resulting in double procs), like we suggested way back then (and still hasn't been fixed btw). Maybe also increase the damage reduction of smolder from DF for balancing purposes. This would be the least interesting option, but should be, in my opinion, relatively easy to revert and balance. This is what we suggested for AoE in m16, but instead they claimed the it unintentional behavior to proc DF on Crits and ever since m17 was released (like a year?) we've had trash AoE builds.
(Who knows, maybe they really didn't foresee people slotting Crit Conflag *shrugs*)
Known issue:
Some DPS paths have variable degrees of ability to maintain forced Combat Advantage, either everyone should be able to maintain forced CA relatively equally, or none at all. It puts you in this sticky situation were paths that can easily maintain forced CA need to have weaker powers relative to those who can't, and then when CA is almost a given, like in the two latest trials, the balance is borked because now the forced CA doesn't matter much, and one class has stronger powers than the other.
The same^^ can be said for Smurf Bars (temp shield), either all healers should be able to do it relatively equally, or none at all, it's that powerful.
Pre M16, Forced CA was usually provided by marks, so even if you didn't have forced CA, you could rely on other classes' features which worked for everyone, so it wasn't much of an issue. If you want it harder to maintain CA, then there are at least 2 classes you need to tweak to make it harder to do so on, otherwise, give everyone back their abilities to force CA.
Any features that randomly proc'd off crits need to be given a twice over. Low probability features are bad for anything other than very long fights, if something has X% chance to proc on crits, it has at best X/2% chance to proc on any given attack. So if something has a 10% chance to proc on a Crit, it has a 5% chance to proc on any given attack given that your crit is capp'd. That means it could take 20+ attacks before say, Nightmare Wizardry procs, where as a Warlock can force CA on half of their attacks (around every 2 attacks). Another example is Spell Storm, 20% chance to proc on Crits, so 10% chance on any given attack, it procs very seldom now, which means it's not very reliable for AoE. Only one useful buff in Chaos Magic, 5% chance on Encounters, and 1/3 chance to get a useful buff, Quick Action, so less than 2% chance to proc on any given Encounter. I would like to see Chaos Magic Reworked to Quick Action, 5% chance to gain 10% action points on encounter use. The other one that buffs at wills is near useless, and as far as I can tell, the one that reduces CD's wears off before your CDs come off CD, at which point they revert back to their original CD length, so totally useless.
Thanks for listening if you got this far,

smoldering (normal and icy), worked 33 times, although with the passive “Burning fire”, it should have worked at least 87 times (I just counted the cold beam, which delivered 182 hits, and 48% critical strike from them),
Here’s a "Burn Flash" test that should be smoldering
http://joxi.ru/p27wMLguWxzkx2
out of 77 flash strokes 18 smoldering strokes !!!
Return stacks of smoldering or update the counter with causing damage when overlapping, why does it not stack?
The basic mechanics do not inflict damage from the word at all, then why was it left at all?
