Connection problems, diagnosed network issue

I am having big problems connecting to game today and yesterday. I get 'cannot connect to account/game server' in 75% of my attempts to log in or change character. Once the game is loaded it plays fine. It seems some network router is actively rejecting new connections while prioritizing established ones, which makes sense in an overload situation.

As you can see the culprit seems to be between 93.191.173.145 and 93.191.173.11 in the Akamai network.
This is fairly close to Cryptics connection point.

Can Cryptic discuss this with Akamai please?

Now is April 28th, 13.57 Eu time.
I have had similar problems: Account server not present or can't be found, login problems while game is loading, hundreds of crashes while playing. This has been like this for several days now and still is.
Right now I'm unable to load the game on first try, same as above.
Right now I'm so pissed that I'm thinking it would be best to quit this game all together. I have spent several hours just trying to login and enjoy the game.
The thing is, this problem has happened before and is still not resolved.

I am also having issues when making new connections to either login, account or game servers starting yesterday 27th of April.
Once I am in the game, everything runs fine though, no real lag problems or disconnects.

Before this Monday I had no issues what ever and usually have a rock solid connection to NW servers compared to many others.
Connections to anything else on the internet is fine and I work remotely from home at the moment, so have a RDP connection open to company servers all the time during working hours, which is also 100% stable.
But when starting the game or changing toons, I would say I get a timeout about 50% of the time from either login, account or game server. Immediately retrying usually works and I get in.

Same issue here. Having a very hard time logging in and connecting to the game and crashing every time I try to enter a dungeon.

Definetely looks like somethings going on in the 93.191.173.* segment. Even had a timeout on one of the pings there.

Its virtually impossible to log in. Crashing when entering dungeons, logging in and switching toons. Been like this since yesterday.

Same problem here for me (i think) in Denmark and it started around 20-22nd April, prior never an issue.
I try to log in (steam) and launcher fails roughly 2 in 3 attempts.. then WHEN i do get in to character select i have the 'patch thing in upper left corner, it tries to dl files but most of times it just sits at '1 file, 0 bytes' and then crashes/timeouts (yes, game have access thru firewall) i have tried no proxy/EU/US to no avail. basically i have not been able to play last week due to this, lucky to just get in and claim daily key.....

Is there a way nowadays to download ALL/FULL game so we do not have to have those load issues, i remember Secret world had similar performance issues unless you downloaded full game.

Hi everyone!

Have the same problems as everyone else in this thread playing from sweden.
Started yesterday.
It consists of different timeouts and now they are so many that it is unplayable.
Logins, character switches, loading dungeons everything gets timed out and crashes.
Only had very few issues like this before.
Please look into and solve this asap.

Since I have the similar time delay from 93.191.173.* segment and yet I don't have any issue, I don't think it is about 93.191.173.* but the gateway connection entering akamai.com infrastructure.

If I take my connection to be "stable", it means from zayo.com to netarch.akamai.com is stable.
It appears other connections to netarch.akamai.com were not.
"Not stable" means sometimes, it works and sometimes, it does not.

The 1st post of this thread does not show where (another company) got into akamai.com from.

The post from theelusiveone shows: telia.net to netarch.akamai.com. telia.net appears to be from Europe.

I'm from Canada.

We can't really know how the Akamai network is structured, it could be broken down in /30 subnets for all we know.
Your trace only shows you are lucky to not be routed through one of the affected links or routers.

Looks like this has been fixed for me at least.
I no longer have the connection issues with timeout to various servers anymore.
Just went through more than 20 toon changes after daily reset without any issues.
