Big sign... i just did RTQ (random Trial Queue) item level 16K..And that is it!! You don't need anything else to get in. Enter with blue gear..no weapon neither armor enchantment no other enchants like radiant or black or they wear a lot of level 8 enchants (u get for free in the chest with gear when u start the undermountain campaign) not much boons ( they just started the game) and possible no mounts with insignia or good companions with bondings. You don't need anything to get in just the item level and be there and hope the party/team/raid is killing the boss, so you get your reward 32K something like that (even when u stay on the campfire after a dead). Easy going:( And that is what i really dislike. A lot of new players, and that is good that keep the game alive, but totally not prepared for a dungeon for example Demorgorgon like i just did. They not even know the meganics. They need the AD like we all do. But i hope, i really do, that you change the requirement to get in the Epic Trials like this. I posted a few weeks ago about the balance ( or better to say no balance) in this game. People are in a blink level 80 and in that period that they level there in you can do a lot as devs. But that was a other discussion. Back to this RTQ or the REDQ with the same story. I think you can change the requirement make it itl 20 or something like that use your imagination you are the developers! But as the game evolves like it now go there is no fun anymore.

You can reach the entry IL simply by playing UM only on a char (reach around 14k IL easily with good guild boons) without doing much else. To be able to RTQ does not need much.
In my opinion, anyway.
What was not part of the equation is that there are not many experienced players in RTQ to carry all the new players. They are doing premades, playing pretend (me), sitting around, whatever, but they are not queueing RTQ public in the numbers that would be required to have a smooth run.
But yeah, I think this is exactly what they wanted to have. A bit of cutting short the grind. The learning curve is suffering a bit, yeah.. but a new player can either, you know, stand at the campfire and wait or try to find guild members/other methods to teach them how stuff works. They can also make the decision to learn the game for real by playing the other content as well.
They will suffer if they do not do this, in the end.
RTQ has added CoDG.
REQ has added LoMM and CR.
Interesting times ahead. CoDG with 18k IL people...
I don't get the point of adding in stuff that the players cant complete due to iL being too low. Its just stupid
Oh and for all the "we did CoDG on a group of iL 12k toons years ago in our guild" brigade, remember this is mostly PUGs not well thought out and experienced players with teamspeak and a brilliant co-ordination
Plus the final AOE at CoDG does 0 damages, no need to stay on the bubble
