In the general rules or in the Realms? That makes a difference.
In the 4E Neverwinter campaign guide, page 51 for example. “You gain proficiency with the orb, the staff and the wand as implements” implements being the 4e term for arcane focus/holy symbol. I don’t think there is any specifically forgotten realms material that states what an arcane focus is but this certainly shows that wands and staves are just like orbs and they are very much in use during the period when the game is set.
Is there any source showing arcane focus wands and staves as charged items?
anything remotely similar to this in game anywhere?
The Purple crystal can be approximated with a Peridot focus ( Construcable in the Artificer tab of the workshop ) turned into an appearance item and Dyed purple.
Ego etiam cupo recrari et amari diu post mortem meam I too wish to be recreated, and to be loved long after my death.
For Boots and Pants you could look at Aurochhide Boots of the Mage (craftable with Leatherworking) Vest is just wait and hope Leather Vest gets a wizard option eventually. If you need a gapfiller for arm Archon's Bracers are pretty low-profile.
Warlock: Don't want to let you down but I am hell bound. - Imagine Dragons Cleric: You can be an angel of mercy or give in to hate. - Shinedown Wizard: The more the dark consumes me, I pretend I'm burning bright. - Shinedown Barbarian: Am I beautiful... as I tear you to pieces? - In This Moment
