Vanrakdoom NPC quest-giver disappears on approach never to return. [Solved]

I am currently trying to complete the undermountain campaign on my pally, and when I approach the NPCs with quest pick ups they disappear, and do not return.

I have recorded a small video and uploaded it to youtube to demonstrate this bug. On my character it is persistent through area loads and game restarts, meaning I cannot continue the undermountain questline.

    I have tried logging out at the quest location and logging back in to try and collect it before the NPC disappears, in this case the NPC doesn't show up.

    Do you have any other quests you need to turn in?

    This has been resolved (sorry for the late update)

    I needed to collect a quest from Celeste, however this was not shown on the map, and the disappearing quest markers led me astray so I did not explore that particular area.
