Can't connect to account server, Aug 3rd 4-4:30pm PST?

Hi folks,

I can't connect to the game at all. My client loads (and the launcher says the server is up) but I can't actually log again - I get "connection to account server timed out" every time.

I'm not seeing a horde of other posts about this or notifcations on twitter or anything - is it just me? My internet connection is fine to all other sites and I can reach the forums without a problem. I've already rebooted and tried from two different computers.

Anyone else seeing this?

    I finally got in long enough to collect my daily VIP key. I got kicked out and can't get back in since: I can't play.

    Nobody else having connection problems? I have LITERALLY ZERO problems reaching all other internet sites and playing all other online games.

    Hi @lowjohn - no issues on our end on Saturday (other than Preview/Mimic being down until mid-Saturday). Let us know if it happens again/continues!

    It's working and has been pretty good since then, but other players I spoke to reported seeing the same problem on Friday Aug 2nd around the same time. One more data point at least?

    I am now seeing this as of 8:37 pm pdt. Internet on my end is working fine and logged into arc server (from which im posting now). The issue appears to be on the account server side. Unable to authenticate: account server connection timed out.

    Same problem. I was playing and got booted during a cutscene and haven't been able to log back in for the last 20 minutes.

    Here is the error I'm getting: Unable to authenticate connection to account server timed out.

    I'm surfing this site just fine so it's not my connection.

    Hmm I wonder if the server is having cashe dump issues regarding logged in accounts... I am currently experiencing a Login error myself and after beign attacked on a diffrent games forums (not arc related thankfully) I am a little on edge understandably... as a side note its good to see the Spellcheck is at least working on the threads and forums again great job getting that operational again staff it does help us who have reading disorders. :3

    Yea I'm getting issues with Account Server as well right now; unable to authenticate.

    Yes, same problem, unable to authenticate, timed out. Looks like Champs and STO are getting the same problem as NW

    Yep! I thought this was just me and I freaked out, I cannot log into neverwinter. Getting the same message.
