Tales of Old - Lag Reports

We have been listening to the feedback regarding lag and disconnects experienced during Tales of Old. Yesterday (Thursday) we took some steps to mitigate this issue but we continue to monitor the situation due to additional reports. Our engineering team is looking into this and we will proved any available updates as soon as possible.

    can you also consider balancing it out a bit more so players don't have to be dragged through and also add it to the public ques like the cta dungeons?

    You also have to fix the bug with the Chests!
    We ran it today and 4 of 5 players couldn't open the normal chests!

    We could only get the mimics, so we only got 1/5 of the rewards we should get! T.T

    Add a way to let people return to instance in case of game crashes or disconnects. It's REALLY terrible when you end up putting hours of effort into a run just to have a 10 secs disconnect happen in 4th/5th round and get kicked out of the instance with no possibility to get back to your group and zero rewards. I can't believe such obvious flaw in the design wasn't picked up before event went live...
    This is by far the main complaint about this event for me.

    It was "picked up"...

    Right now i can't even loggin into my account, and when i can it says: "Timedout" or i got disconnected after 97% of loading screen before entering in the game.

    Poor execution... This should have returned as regular queued content with three difficulty settings like the other queues. Also the IL requirements are a joke. A really bad joke. I ran it once, on my character with highest IL, and I am not planning on ever running it again.

    couldn't have said it better myself. Would have loved to see the mad dragon return to the regular que as well.

    The event is very unbalanced as i said in my original post. No dungeon should floor a lvl 70 party in the mobs. bosses sure but not the mobs.

    This would be easily fixed by having it in the public event que list like how the CTA dungeons are.

    after this att, I can no longer enter the game, and when it goes load disconnects.

    Since yesterday (15), I can not even connect to the game too !!! The launcher doesn't start.


    I lost a whole day event :(

    Also something happened to me right now... i was afk for 10min and got disconnected for being idle, ok for that. But now i'm not able to even reconnect to join the game. Launcher takes forever to even log in, and still receiving the "timedout" message

    This is happening to me, and because that, I'll lose another event day and I'll not be able to get the artifacts.

    Sooooooooo lemme see cryptic. you are aware your servers have been having connection issues for the past weeks. yet you put out a dungeon where if you disconnect (server not responding), you get booted from the dungeon? its been like 5 times today. why even add this mechanic when u are aware of the issues? i dont get it

    The event would also be nice.
    I like it, you have to find hearts for lives and hourglasses for the time.

    I do not like it, that if by chance someone disconnects, he can not go back.
    Getting to the fifth run is a bet against disconnections, and you have to be nervous and I hope to be able to finish all five until the end.

    Resolve this thing that if you accidentally disconnect you can not go back.

    Same here. Yesterday I couldn't log into the game at all cause the client never connected and when it did it kicked me out to the login screen.
    Today it's the same.

    It always gets stuck in "Connecting to Account Server", and other games can connect normally, I can watch videos online, etc., so there's not any problem with the network.

    I'm loving the dungeon, the difficulty, everything except the disconnect.

    To the people saying the dungeon is unbalanced, no, it isn't. The recommended ilvl is 16k, it's 16k for a reason. So it isn't unbalanced. Not in the slightest, it does take team work and coordination though. But a team of 5 people 16k, 3 dps, dc and tank can do 5 runs without trouble. And I'm not talking about "Meta" parties either. Almost all of my runs are non meta groups. So it isn't unbalanced.

    The disconnect is super frustrating. We did a run for my girlfriend so she could get her coins - I was already at max for the day, it was a good team, she was the lowest ilvl at 16k+, but half way through the second run she disconnected because her game crashed. She couldn't get back in so she was screwed, we finished the run as a 4 man (4 tiers). But the only reason I was running it again was so she could get her coins. So after 4 runs I got basically nothing and she only got 1 coin because her disconnect happened after the first run had completed. Really annoying.
