Unable to craft Defense Supplies for Siege of Neverwinter event

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, sometimes I feel as if the issues I may have are just happening to me. lol.
I was running one of newly created characters (created after the professions change over) and finished all the event startup quests (never having done it before of course) and crafted the defense supplies needed to finish the donate quest.
I switched to an older character (created many years ago) remembering that they had some leftover event currencies and defense supplies, and took the donate quest, did the siege event quest, then went to craft the defense supplies...only to find out I couldn't. While the tab is there in the professions window, it's empty. This happens both using the sending stone and in the workshop. this character had already maxed out professions before the new change over, I had already gone through making all the adjustments and doing the quests to make the changes. Nothing I do, who I talk to or anything makes a change. I simply don't have any options to craft the Defense Supplies needed for the event.
Anyone have any ideas or had this happen to you?
UPDATE: Never mind all, for some reason it wasn't updating my selection on seeing tasks with unmet requirements being selected/deselected. Tried clearing it and re selecting it a few times, then exited out, verified files, came back and it was working...so..yes..for now the issue is just me.
