I think most players want instant gratification and are unwilling to farm for boons, that we all know improve survivability and damage output, because they can easily get to 12k il from entering barovia and killing one werewolf. Catch-up mods are just not helping the game, its increasing the distance between veteran players and newer players. Unfortunately this also means we will see more people being rude, mean, and conceited towards others. Best bet join a guild, talk with the nicer people you pug with, and if all else fails watch a couple YouTube videos to have an idea about a dungeon. In an ideal world veteran players would always have time to explain a dungeon to a newer player, but alas, with an international game even if one was so inclined it might not be possible. Best of luck to all players new and old alike. If you ever need some advice or help find me in game (pc) I enjoy this game to no end all levels of pve content.
I have tried to explain various concepts/tips to the Party to no avail - for example when each party member can one-shot the demons in PoM then its best to split up and clear more tears more quickly. But they all ran around like sheep following each other...
Or to try and avoid the killer glowing globes in CN... to no avail
Id rather Cryptic stop giving out free gear. I think that would solve a lot of issues in and of itself. Also useless anti elitist alliances and guilds should stop being politically correct and let ppl tell someone if they aren't capable of doing a specific dungeon with there current gear. Other than that I like the current RAQ setup except i still hate the ad nerf.

A simple adjustment to vote kick, and the pug is replaced, elitism at it's best! 3 minutes timer, or 2 deaths and you become vulnerable to a vote kick. Or just shut up and enjoy an epic free game!
Yes, why shouldn't people enjoy wasting their time to "help newer players" without getting any of the rewards they showed up or without the newer players getting any of those rewards - i.e. getting helped - either? Why don't people enjoy frustration? Why don't people enjoy a problem that could be fixed by actual class balancing and a simple adjustment to the queue requirements? Aren't newer players entitled to use others' time to explore content they have no business being in and can't complete?
It's a hard nut to crack. For the most part I have no problems with PUGging randoms, but epics become a waste of time. Heck, I have had an epic I have never run and I was the weak link.

I usually shrug it off.
