Bug in Highwayman's outfit?

For the new Highwayman's outfit, the "accent" colour seems to be the main part of the garment, rather than the actual accents. This means for example Sunite Heart dye, which I expect to be mainly pink turns the outfit mainly a weird grey colour. Have tried with lots of other dye packs, like Jungle Cloak which is supposed to be mainly green and yellow, but instead makes the outfit mainly black with a tiny bit of green and gold. They all seem to behave in this way.

I mean, maybe this is by design but it seems completely wrong.

This is on the female outfit by the way.
