I'm a new lvl 70 SW, I have an IL of 6K, where should I go to start getting gear to bring my IL to around 8-10K? also to make a lot of gold for enchantment removal for newer gear?

simple question first: To make gold, pick up trash (everything that drops when you kill mobs) and sell. You will get much more than you need - 10G per day is my average income, for example.

IL does not come exclusively from gear.

Sources of IL are:
* Gear, and levelling that gear
* Enchants on the gear, and levelling those enchants
* Companions and levelling them
* Gear and enchants on active companion
* Mounts with insignias, and mount power
* Campaign boons
* Guild boons
* Reinforcements on gear

Also, those treasure drops are easy to ignore, but they're usually worthwhile - to me at least: they don't take as much room as individual pieces of equipment 'cause they stack; there's no identification hassle; stacks of them can sell for a good bit; and they all conveniently sell at the press of a button.

The Leadership profession is a fairly easy way to amass funds, too.
