If i want enemies taking damage from hitting me, which one is better?

Mane is more powerful, but has a 30 seconds cooldown. Chitters on the other hand does not (at least not on the tooltip, i would be glad if someone can confirm if it actually works without cooldown), so it is more "spammable".

    I don't have the Mane yet as I've yet to unlock my two-star hunts for Omu but I do have Chitters. The damage appears to proc as advertised but it was registering at 4% of my health vice 5%, though I think it said, "up to" in the tooltip. No cooldown as near as I could tell.
