I REAAAALLLLYY don't want to do this campaign on an alt (for boons). I'd rather pay for it and play what I want to play instead of investing time into this. With all the other campaigns that we had to do over the years can you blame me? :P

Buying out campaigns has got to be a big money maker for Neverwinter. Every time we get a new campaign, it makes the older campaigns a little less relevant and makes it a little less appealing to start a new character. You need the boons for the IL, but they are time gated or behind very grindy grinds which no one wants to deal with more than once, and there is literally no motivation to run those campaigns repetitively outside the boons because the rewards are out dated..... ugh, I just gave myself a headache.
My point was I would be interested to know how much money they've made off of buying out campaigns because I bet it is a lot.
And to answer your question, I do believe the devs said every time a new mod drops the oldest campaign that does not already have a buy out option will be made available for purchase.

Make a patronage token. The campaign goes fast.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
I haven't completed it once yet, been doing all other campaigns. Starting it now unfortunately... zzz

Mod 12 is a kind of short campaign. Mod 12b also does not have anything interesting to offer. RQ killed all my dungeon run fun. I don't like to grind TONG N times. I have 5 characters finished the campaigns. Hence, in this 'down time', since December, I 'trained' my 6th character from no boon. Since I know all the short cut, I can do a few campaigns at the same time (especially if campaign is time gated). It was not that bad and I even got all the WoD boons in record time. With the help of Winter festival, she was not blocked by Linu's favour. She was blocked by 'Page of Arcane lore'. Duh!
What she has not completed are: River District, Chult and SKT. Since I am doing all 3 campaigns at the same time, these boons should be completed at the same time.

This. It's a lot cheaper than spending Zen on a token, and depending on the campaign it can make a huge difference.

I don't understand Cryptics reasoning behind this, here you have people willing to spend money for a token, but they don't want to provide it.

They will provide it in time. The newest campaigns, I believe they said latest 2, will not have completion tokens until they cycle out.

As someone fairly new to the game and running the old content, I would suggest Cryptic stop adding new content and update their current content. The cobwebs and dust are, frankly, embarrassing. Its like you are introducing people to your home and you want to show them the new addition in the back but they have to walk through the rest of the house with the leaky roof and mildew.

They don't have much choice about releasing new content; when WotC puts out a new expansion, NWO has to follow suit.
Campaign tokens available on the Zen Market will always exclude the current campaign and the one prior. While the Campaign for Lost City of Omu is a continuation of the Tomb of Annihilation campaign, the Cloaked Ascendancy campaign buyout is slated to become available with the next module.

PvP isn't a module. Don't see a buyout token in the foreseeable future.
