Ran a random skirmish and it was Prophecy of Madness. As soon as we arrive, before the door, a player is grayed out / disconnected but in party. We can't dump them. We sit there waiting about 3 minutes, can't kick or dump. Player suddenly returns, so we start. They immediately disconnect permanently from the party as we start. So, now we are out a player who is not replaced by the system.

None of the above should work this way. I don't want to see insta-kicks, but the above really isn't helping anyone have a good time.

People don't want to run then they need to make sure they are not part of the party.

The reward for leveling dungeons is a misconcept imo, same as I only can run epic random by building a premade group or accept the penalty being thrown into a noob-combo.
There needs to be any kind of votekick after 10 min or leave without penalty, since after 10min you either knnow,"This FBI run is wasted" or you know "This teammate has to leave to give it a chance"
The community needs any tool to selfeducate.

Leveling Dungeon simply favours bots/exploiter and kills everyones fun that runs this dungeon first time, just running after that endgeared 14k IL.
The lowie only thinks : " Damn what a crappy game" or "nice, I get pulled through" , normally he should work for that AD imo.
The IL 14 thinks: " Damn , why do I have to run this HAMSTER dungeon to earn maximum AD"
The botter thinks: " Thank you cryptic, I enjoy your concept"

Not sure what you are saying... 'if they don't want to run the dungeon' (meaning 'play through the dungeon') or 'if they don't want to run all the way through the dungeon' (meaning speed run)?

I ran CoK the other night. 3 of us zoned in. One of us bounced out, back in, and then disconnected. CoK can be a long run at times. I and the other person handled the whole thing quite well, but when there was the option to check, we were unable to kick the disconnect. The way the disconnect happened gave me the impression that it was a deliberate discon. If that was the case then the person should have made sure that they were no longer associated with the party before they did so.

If they do not want to run the dungeon/skirmish (too long, too hard, whatever) then they need to remove themselves from the party/queue group before doing whatever else they're going to do.

I think at least some of the immediately disconnecting players are bots.

To be fair I still have the graphics card crash to desktop which has happened in a few Randoms. By the time I get back in [over five mins] I am logged out of the random anyways *sad face*
