Cannot enable visuals for my head gear

sweetlauranasweetlaurana Member Posts: 13 Arc User
I have been asked to report this bug to this forum by the game masters at arcgames via a support ticket. Sadly, I do not have the steps to reproduce.

The issue: When I click on my headgear, and select "Enable Visuals", the option is greyed out. Please see the screenshot for reference:

Here is a screenshot of the issue.

I disabled the visuals a long time ago and recently purchased headgear from the mysterious merchant and wanted to see how it looked.

I understand that the headgear will not display even if I had the option to enable the visuals when I have my fashion enabled, but this option is still greyed out even when I have chosen not to display my fashion.

This issue occurs just for this one character that I have that I am aware of. The exact name of the headgear is "Cannibal Lebuth's Headpiece". However this issue occurs for ANY headgear that I equip on this toon for ANY loadout.

I have tried removing the fashion but it still did not work. I tried adding the head piece on the fashion then turning the fashion off, but it still did not work.

I removed the headhear on all loadouts and then equipped another headgear, applied to all loadouts, but was still unable to enable visuals.

I took off all my clothes.... equipped the headgear, still unable to enable the visuals.

I have even paid for a token to change my appearance but that did not resolve this issue.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can offer you to help you reproduce this issue or find a solution.

Thanks!!

Edit: I see that you're dragonborn. Alas, there are many headpieces that do not have visuals for Dragonborn at this time. This must be one of them.

I would contact Support again, in the same ticket, and tell them that this is a game bug and that because you were unaware, you wasted Zen on that Appearance Change token to try and resolve the issue. That you'd like to be compensated back for that lost Zen. I do not know if they would compensate you for the lost Zen in this case, but it is worth a try. I would try if it happened to me. They might give you your Zen back or maybe at least the Appearance Change Token. Just be as respectful and detailed as possible. Good luck!

Yeah, it is one of the downsides of being dragonborn.
