Hey guys, I feel pretty dumb asking this, but I literally can't figure this one out and as an RPer, it's driving me batty. O_O I keep hearing about console commands or something being used to create walk/run keybinds, but for the life of me I CANNOT figure it out. Anyone able to gimme a hand?

The chat command to toggle walk/run mode is ++walk
To set this as a keybind, type the following in chat, replacing X with whatever keybind you wish: /bind X ++walk
I have mine bound to Page Up. I then have one of my extra mouse buttons emulate that key, so I can use either the keyboard key or the extra mouse button to toggle walk. So, if you want that keybind for that too, it would look like this to set up: /bind PgUp ++walk
Some keys are straight forward on what they are, while others, like Page Up and Numpad have short names. If you need help figuring one out, feel free to ask. You can also find information on such here.
Also, if you want it set as a "hold to walk," the command for that is: +walk One plus on a command means "hold to perform" and two plusses means it is a toggle.
Does it matter what chat channel you use?? I tried it Say and Zone and neither one worked. First time I tried it, bound key just made me run like "T". Second time I used PGUP key in different chat and nothing happened.

Make sure you're typing the full command I posted, including the forward slash: /
So, if you want PgUp, it has to be just as I typed, respecting uppercase and lowercase: /bind PgUp ++walk
Ahhh very good that. I missed the slash so probably why it did not recognize the command. Thanks!!!
Most welcome, let me know if you have any more issues with this or any command.
I just recently redid all my keybinds, so I'll go ahead and post my keybinds file contents and alias file. To export your kebinds to a file, type /bind_save_file filenamehere and it will save the file as you named it in your installation directory. Open it with Notepad. You can edit it freely there. To import the keybinds after changes are made or to other characters, type /bind_load_file filenamehere
To import to other characters, you need to type that command on each character. You can be logged in while you make changes, just need to load the file after you save it. You can have as many keybind exported files as you want, so you can make different keybind templates for different characters or classes, etc. I used to do this years ago but ended up going to a unified keybind setting for all characters. I used to have a different keybind setting for each of the classes.
Also, some of the keybinds found in the in game keybind options won't appear in the exported list. I don't know if this is intentional or a bug. For instance, WSAD commands won't appear in the export. You can add missing keys and commands if you like.
Keybinds:
C "Pets" "" G "++interact" "" H "" "" K "powers" "" O "Options" "" P "paperdoll" "" L "lore" "" T "" "" U "" "" V "PowerExec 1 Item_Wondrous_Cloak_Etherealness_T04b" "" X "+Mount" "" Y "++autoforward" "" Z "ToggleGoldenPath" "" [ "InteractWithRewardClaim" "" ] "guildmanagement" "" \ "ChangeInstance" "" , "" "" . "" ""
My alias file: (This is located in the localdata folder in the installation directory. It has to be named CommandAliases.txt - What it does is creates slash commands you can type to initiate a command in game. So, for example, when I type /gate my VIP signpost to travel will be commanded to appear. Typing /bow will cause the bow emote to happen.)
