Concerns over Summer Festival two day overlap with Mod 12 launch

@nitocris83 @terramak Just a little concerned about the up-coming two day overlap between the Summer Festival and the Mod 12 launch. The festival ends on Thursday 27th while Mod 12 drops on Tuesday 25th. I am concerned about several things that this could cause. During the final days of the festival, everyone and their auntie will be volleying Sahaa balls and running all of the other festival events in a desparate rush to get everything they need to obtain the festival rewards. The level of play in the festival has and is causing lag.

When Mod 12 drops, this lag will be taken to an entirely new level of horrendous as people try to explore the areas. Major mod drops always cause problems, especially with the current on-going mistake of allowing instances to contain up to 50 players for the first few days. They also usually include an extended maintainance for the patch to be installed. This will result in people losing several hours of festival play time in the final days of the event which will lead to even more people trying to earn event currency in the last 48 hours.

Delaying the launch to the following Tuesday or even just by a couple of days to Thursday would have been a sensible approach, but I realise you have little to no flexibility on these things as they are dictated by WotC. Since delaying the launch of mod 12 is unlikely to happen, what steps are being taken to minimise this disaster in the making ?
