I really fell in love with this game a few months ago (5) when i started...love the Neverwinter lore...the economy...ant the game as a whole....was pretty lucky early...was getting loot to sell in dungeons...and was motivated by the steady growth...
...but for the last couple months...i can"t get a thing to sell...even thought i do about 20 dungeons a day...i mean nothing....
...the very very rare time i get something...it"s bound...so my growth as peaked...not to say stopped...
Now worst...i save my AD (36000 a day) to upgrade my enchantment...and face the same frustrating fail during my upgrades.....
...0 for 10 on 20% success rate...0 for 11...and on and on..
I brought all my enchantment and a couple artifacts to READY TO UPGRADE status during the last 2x refinement weekend 3 weeks ago...
...with the refining stones i accumulated by being level 25 leadership...
...and even thought I have put ALL my AD and efforts towards that sole task...i still have 3 of my 12 enchantments to upgrade...
...and i don"t even want to think of how many wards i"ll need to refine the artifacts...which are only a 10% success rate!!!
I must confess that I am not VIP...but what brought me to this game...were the reviews that said that you could succeed every bit as well as a paying customer...if you where willing to put the work...which I feel i do!!!!...
...without talking of the friends i invited who are paying customers...
These wards are not cheap...nowadays about 58k for 10 of them...
Empty coffers...incomprehensible lack of success on upgrades....as taken ALL OF THE FUN out of this game for me! : (
Have I reached the peak growth for a non VIP?...gear level 2800
WHY put success rate %...if in fact it has nothing to do with the reality?....
I expect nothing to come out of this....it"s really just a rant to vent my frustration...0 for 11 on 20%...not once...
...in fact right now i"m probably 2 or 3 for my last 25...maybe worst...really?...ridiculous!
Where the game was providing me with daily thrills...it has now become a bit of a depressing/frustrating/futile grind/adventure!
Is anyone else experiencing the same lack of success on refining?...at least it would help me understand what is going on....
...or have i just become that bad lucky!

And there is advice how to amass a LOT of refining points (besides buying mount with wanderous fortune, which would be my best purchase in game so far. Also using only in game AD):

And small tip - I've earned a lot thanks to this because people doesn't realize this - you can buy preservation wards from ZEN store. With 15% coupon from invoking bags it's 42.5k AD for 10.
And yeah it seemed for me that RNG is totaly unfair for me while refining. But when I started to refine more (for example bondings stones) and I bought hundreds of pres wards and noted results - the numbers were the same as stated. I could burn 10 pres on 50% chance but also succeeded on first try on 5% chance.
And you need to consider what's worth of refining. Never refine enchants below R8 - R8s drop in dungeons and are cheaper than cost of making them (in most cases).
Same goes for VIP. Get 1000 ZEN and buy VIP. Use your daily enchanted key and sell the pack you get, unopened. Let someone else eat the depreciation. You will make your AD back abd more. Just be sure to refresh your ZEN using the proceeds before you are close to running out of subscription.
For the minimum effort, get 850 Zen and buy VIP with a 15% off discount coupon (if you have to buy only 1 month VIP).
It is even better if you buy 6 month VIP when there is a Zen store 40+% off discount sale.
As for your success rate. That won't change with the VIP Program. What you're lacking is the use of Preservation and Coalescent Wards.
Once a percentage drops below 75%, I will always use a Preservation Ward so I don't loose materials when it fails. When it drops below 10%, I'll use a Coalescent Ward to make it a 100% success. Even 25% and below, if I eat too many Preservation Wards, I'll use a Coalescent to put an end to my misery.
To get free Preservation and Coalescent Wards, you don't need VIP though. Just invoke each day and spend your Celestial Coins on [Coffer of Celestial Enchantments] (my suggestion on which Coffer to buy anyway). Keep in mind, it's not a garuntee you'll get one of them from every Coffer you open, just the one I suggest has the least amount of items in the list of possible rewards, increasing your odds of getting one.
If you're going to be buying Marks from the Wondrous Bazaar, then I would suggest to get to VIP rank 8 to 12. At Rank 8, you start to get a 5% cost reduction in the Wondrous Bazaar, and at each rank there-after, it increases further, up to 25% discount at Rank 12. Along the way, at Rank 5, you'll also get a 10% more rough AD Bonus to your RAD Bonus pool from Invoking.
As others suggested, make use of the 15% off coupon you can get from the invocation bags you get from your 2+ invocations for the day. They drop the cost of VIP down from 1000 to 850 Zen for one month and if you use it on the multiple month bundle, it makes it even cheaper (2025 for 3 months and 3825 for 6 months). Another good perk of VIP at just Rank 1 is the [Enchanted Key] you get once per day. There's all sorts of other great perks in the consecutive Ranks and the best part is that you don't need to spend real money to get VIP. Just, as stated above, convert your in-game earned AD to Zen or gain ARC Points and convert those to Zen.

...so once again I thank you a lot guys!...this is without a doubt a very helpful community!!!
Hope you all have a great day or night...whichever applies to you!!!!
Very thankfully yours!
I will say, that the change from the initial post (negative rants) to the May 12th one (where you thanked the community, then complained about more failures on refinement) was a big change of direction, and *seemed* like sarcasm. I will assume I misread it, and to quote the Gunslinger, 'Say sorry'.
