Temp HP from Templar's Wrath stay with you after switching from Prot to Devo - Bug or WAI?

Just curious to see if anyone else noticed this either on Tribble or yesterday with 11b went live. Yesterday, I was at fireside and getting the feel for the abilities and rotation of the Protection pally abilities and hit Templar's Wrath. My eyes went wide as I saw the amount of Temp HP it provides then switched my loadout back to my usual Devotion configuration. My eyes went wider when noticed the Temp HPs stayed with me. Was this intended? Is it a bug?

If it is WAI, my mind races on how useful it would be to get a Prot pally buff just prior to a boss fight then switching back to Devo mode. If its a bug, would appreciate a fix to it soon before folks try to build it into the rotation and it becomes something of a meta. Anyone seen this when they were fiddling with their loadouts?

    Just to update, looks like absolution's extra shielding also remains in effect even if you swap loadouts. I stood by a fireside, cast absolution as a devotion, switch to protection and the shield from absolution remained in effect. Cast templar's wrath as a prot then switched back to devotion. Thats alot of tankiness if you ask me. Hope its WAI but suspect it isn't.
