Hellfire armor dropped from normal Karru. Is that still available?

Dread Vault had the Illithid Robes, one of which shares a skin that is still available aa a rare drop from Whispering Caverns last lair boss. The other is the basis of Psion's Shroud but has a longer tunic.

Gray Wold Den had Sword of the Shadowolf or somesuch for GWF.

There was Blue Fire Holy Symbol from Spellplague IIRC.

Also there were the t2 armor sets with no bonuses that dropped in various places like Arcane Overseer (CW) and Steel (?) Bulwark (GF) I don't know if they had unique looks however.

I have Arcane Overseer as the normal look for my CW. As far as I know, there were only three AO pieces: chest, boots, and offhand (which of course doesn't have a visual).

An NPC with the same type of armor is the female mage in the Tower District by the second campfire. She's the one you go to when you have elemental weevils or have the rods/staves/wands quest.

The problems with Arcane Overseer are twofold: first, getting matching head and arms pieces. Fortunately, you can now get the models from the Mantrol-Derith vendor. They're part of one of the Elemental Evil armor pieces. The second problem is in the colors. You can get the gold portion from the Mercurial Gold dye pack and you can use standard blue dye for the blue parts. Depending on the lighting, Mercurial Gold sometimes looks like a perfect match, and sometimes looks very, very close. The "red" portion, however, is a problem. It isn't really red -- it has a very slight blue component to it. This is evident in the second picture where I used red dye on the hat piece (as well as on the arm piece) to try to get a close match. I looked at every single dye in the game and this was the closest I could find. This brings another issue regarding the old transmutes to the fore: we not only need the models, we could really use the *dyes* as well. Most if not all of those special transmutes came with special "quest" or "dungeon" dye packs applied to them.

On the arm pieces in my screenshots, I deliberately reversed the portions that are red and blue (to match the way that they look in the Elemental Air armor, the hand portion should be red). This look, however, minimizes the amount of clash between the different red shades.

All those old "setless" sets were scattered around the various dungeons. They all had all the pieces but some were beastly rare due to being placed in an unpopular dungeon. The ones from PK were super cheap, natch.

Here's what I came up with

Cloak Tower - Tribal Bracers arms TR
Cragmire - Corsair's Bracers arms GWF, Maelstrom Cloak neck DC
Mad Dragon - first boss could drop a cloak I forget the name of (normal difficulty)
GWD - Bone Belt waist any
Spellplague - Abolethic Dagger mh/oh TR, Mark of the Sovereignty neck any
    Spider - Venomblade mh/oh TR
Karrundax - Amulet of Lashing Storms neck any, Heavy Archon Shield oh GF

Blight Armor and Dark Blight Armor are items from Cragmire and PK for CW and TR, and I get them mixed up because they look the same.

GWF also had Greaves of Dominance but I don't remember where from. They looked the same as the CW ones.

I also have a GWF Solar Armor that I think came from a very old version of the Storm the Keep skirmish. There was a GF Solar Armor around the same level, not the one you can still get with seals. @aimeesellers might recall where it came from.

Dark Blight Armor was an epic from last PK boss, I remember salvaging so many of them :c

GF had two Solar Armors, one from seal vendor and one from normal armor vendor (for gold/AD).

Mad Dragon cloak was Cloak of the Ashmodai or maybe a variant with the same look and similar name.

The Solar Armor I use is the one that used to drop from the old "Storm the Keep" skirmish. It was a random drop. Used to be fairly available on the AH... and now is totally gone. The Solar Armor you can get with seals now looks NOTHING like this. There is a set you can get on the AH that is similar, but it isnt the same on both left and right sides, and doesnt have the skirt (which looks a bit silly if you dont wear pants)... I dont know where it drops from.

The version below, you cant find anywhere in game now.... except on me :P

    Transmutes used here are:
    Gauntlets of Immortality
    Greaves of the Sovereignty
    Solar Armor
    Spear of the Fey
    Shield of the Fey
    Neverwinterian Royal Dye Pack

That's the one. Hooray for perfectly symmetrical armors.
