Mirage weapons

The feature that copies the character into the companion figure in mirage weapons is amazing, really something cool, however there are lots of companions missing animations, some of them are predictable because they are non humanoids and with very different body structure, some others are just missing the animation, from the companions i am able to try and excluding minor annoyances(like weapon persist but companion uses another generated item) these are the ones that have no animation at all:

yeti
alchemist experimenter - Humanoid
rust monster
renegade ilusionist - Humanoid
blink dog
lillend - Humanoid
cockeatrice
vicious dire wolf
intelect devourer

Can we get a option to toggle the phantasmagorical purple visual in the companion (just the filter) instead the player look alike conversion? I am saying this because changing all of them would take days and days and the way it is now feels really clunky with some of the above mentioned companions.

While the idea of turning your companion into a copy of yourself isn't so bad I'd say that :

1 - An illusion isn't the same thing as a parnoid delusion : both you and yourself start screaming silently like the paranoid delusion pet. This doesnt make any sense.

2 - Your pet gets a purple glow while the illusions look exactly like yourself.

3 - The visual effect on your pet shouldnt, logically, be permanent.

4 - Given all the work it would require to add animations for all transformed pets, it would be a lot safer to simply remove the effect on pets.

5 - FIX THE ILLUSIONS' DAMAGE FIRST

And it's not on preview anymore =(, if this was a silent patch and a dev just fixed the issue, the fact that the pet can change it's appearance based on a set and still maintain it's powers is awesome i dont think it should be removed, not being permanent would make it even more clunky because the transformation animation delays and bugs a bit , please dont do this, at least let our companions get a purple filter.

    Yep, they removed it.

And they didn't fix the illusions' damage.

I thought the effect on companion appearance was a known issue with the Mirage weapons and was always intended to be fixed.

Yup. It was cool. Seeing my ninja-black-HR copy teleporting behind enemies and striking (my companion is the shadow demon) was amazing.
