Hey folks,
I have a hand disability which makes tap-dodging out of the red challenging in games like this. I also have trouble moving and attacking at the same time. It's mostly a matter of reaction time.
Is there a class and build that might work for me? I only PvE, no PvP. How far could I get in PvE content, playing like this?
I have tried a gaming mouse, but it doesn't help. It actually is worse.
Thanks for any info!

If the problem is even getting off the commands fast enough or keeping up sufficient actions per second, you need to look at the best class. I think the advice in that case will differ between solo and group content:
For solo content, I would recommend a tank. Tanks can just ignore almost everything in solo content, while classes with less defense will have to do some fast clicking to stay alive. A GF or a tankadin.
For group content, I would recommend a truly ranged dps class. It should be a dps class since they have more freedom to do mistakes that will not affect the group too badly. A healer/tank that is slow can be a problem for the group. Also avoid a class that fight close to the target, since most of the red stuff and melee attacks will fly there which requires fast reactions to dodge.
For group content a SW might be the best option. Other possibilities could be a CW, but CWs really need to fight in melee range to get full benefit. Also a HR could work, but HRs do most dps in melee range and when stance shifting.
SWs specced with a permanent pet also has some good survivability in solo since the pet will take care of much of the tanking. So as the best compromise I would suggest a SW with permanent pet.

There are also several links there, check those out too.
Can the game be enjoyed thoroughly as mainly a solo or small group experience?
On Ps4, we dodge/shield/run/slide ect by pressing the left stick.
My point is, overall, considering the difficulty you have, can't you plug a pad on your PC or the interface is too complex to be mapped on a pad ?

I lost 2 fingers in the service and also found I could no longer use gaming mouse
I have potions mapped to directional keys -dpad and mount is down
I have my at wills on b and a buttons
F or loot all open door etc is the y button
I have my 2 dailies on the right and left bumpers the way they look on layout (makes it easier to swap em and still know which is which
My three skills I have on the left trigger right trigger and x button
Dodge roll is left stick press so you can still use a direction with the other directional stick and press stick in to perform the roll
My right stick in is my stealth or tab class skill I.e. Shield block for tank
And I have 2 hotkey buttons on the back of the controller which is jump and open inventory
The right stick up down left right is w,a,s,d
The left stick is mouse up down left right look
I have these on high sensitivity for pvp
And dead zone set pretty low to not accidentally move
As x padder let's you set how easy or hard you must press to perform an action.
Honestly...I can freakin rock it
In pvp it's almost not even fair as my reflexes on a controller are bionic growing up on fps and consoles and you will have no problems in pve as I usually top paingiver chart.
I play a rogue which is very intense in pve as you are squishy AF !
I really suggest trying this and any questions I would be happy to help
