If the expected value of a lockbox contents was greater than the cost for the key, the best option for any player seeking progression would be to save up money for keys and open boxes. That's not a direction I'd like this game to go.

Some of the points presented on both sides are valid, and the lock boxes could really be made to remove some of the most garbage prizes and distribute the awards such that there isn't such a dramatic scarcity of the fanciest prizes. That would likely drop the value of the fanciest prizes and getting rid of the garbage would raise the value of the lowest prizes. I think that would come close to making a majority of people happy.

I have said elsewhere that I believe all endgame content, up to and including legendary mounts, should be accessible in-game without resort to lockboxes or the action house. There should be a demanding grind-for-reward system in which players specify what they want and will, with enough effort (but choosing for themselves the content they wish to grind), be guaranteed to get it. However, so long as lockboxes aren't going away, all I'm saying is they should be worthwhile. They've been getting less and less so and the vast amounts of AD required to buy something like a skeleton steed only encourage exploiters/botters.

I suggest you look up the word 'irony.' As anyone possessed of superior logic knows, I was interpreting someone else's words and desires rather than expressing my own. Take your frustrations out on him.

The speed of a reply has nothing to do with the quality. See, you lost your train of reasoning again. Also, being dismissive is a time-honored way of attempting to declare victory on the internet, but resorting to a cliche as you did undermines the effectiveness of the tactic.
