When a protection paladin activates Divine Call, the reflect mechanic procs from other reflect damage sources and kills the paladin near instantaneously. "Protection: You Taunt all foes in a 30' area and gain 10% increased Damage Resistance for 10 seconds. You reflect 5% of incoming damage back to the attackers while this effect is active. (Max 5% of your Maximum Hit Points)."
Thank you, Cryptic, for fixing Aura of Vengeance on paladins and Guarded Assault on guardian fighters to no longer proc from reflect damage sources; however, paladins are still dying from endless loop damage.
The main issue is the Protector's Call mechanic from the Oath of Protection paragon path when a protection paladin uses Divine Call. Here is the mechanic's description:
"Protection: You Taunt all foes in a 30' area and gain 10% increased Damage Resistance for 10 seconds. You reflect 5% of incoming damage back to the attackers while this effect is active. (Max 5% of your Maximum Hit Points)."
When a protection paladin uses Divine Call and procs against another reflect source, an endless loop of damage is initiated until the paladin is dead. While the bug is active, the paladin dies before the opposing reflect source is elminated due to each opposing reflect damage gaining the weapon buff properties of the dying paladin (e.g. Sacred Weapon, Aura of Courage, and a weapon enchant with a damage component). A paladin's death seems near instantaneous when Aura of Courage is active.
A quick fix is to have Protector's Call no longer proc from reflect damage. Ideally, the paladin community would rather change the %5 reflect into a %5 damage buff since the reflect mechanic lacks application in both pve and pvp.
Here are other sources of reflect damage that needs attention as well: The Blackthorn headpiece from Malabog's Castle dungeon Briartwine armor enchantment Scourge Warlock's Hellish Rebuke Guardian Fighter's Supremacy of Steel
Could we get an estimation on resolving this issue? A fix before April 11th's Cloaked Ascendancy on PS4 would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to move the post back to class forums? There is very little feedback on the PS4 bug forums and the bug exists on all platforms so other players can discuss the severity and complications of the bug. I would like to get the attention of the developers to fix this alarming issue.
