Would it be OK if I passed that guide around to members of my alliance?
Suggest you just share the link to the document for now, as it will get updated quite a bit. In particular, I need information on when the weekly quest activates, and also on restoration costs for mainhands (I only got the offhand myself).
I am also hoping the the developers will revise the Arcanic Focus cost, as that is a pretty massive and potentially annoying grind at the moment.
Any comments on anything I missed or suggestions for improvement are most welcome.
Hoping for improvements...

I can't remember if you'd put this in your Mini-Guide (which is fantastic, BTW), but... regarding Stencil Ciphers: I had 14 of them in my bag, and was going to grind them all out this morning.
Turns out.. if you run one, the rest of the quests will go away as well. So to save up bag space, if you already have a Stencil Cipher and you get another, you may as well toss the extra.
It confused me the first time as well, but ultimately Cypher quest is just another Found daily like the Gory Grimoire or Grishnak's Talisman. It's the inconsistent coding that makes it a problem. Some like the Sturdy Bone quest count additional quest tokens for completion. If you get 2 Troll Bone tokens you only need 18 of the quest drops to complete. This is like that, the token can keep dropping until you accept the quest, but completion of the quest consumes all tokens and you aren't collecting them anyway.

I unlocked the weekly quest. I did confront Gyrion. After taking the reward, the quest unlocks at Kavatos in the River District.

Yeah I found that out the hard way too. If you get a Stenciled Cipher, you have to do the quest right away before getting another one.

Thanks...updated the guide to say "Just note that the quest object may continue to drop, even though you have one in your inventory, as long as you have not accepted the quest, but once you complete the quest all the copies will disappear, so you cannot do the quest multiple times in a row."
The main thing I need to do finish the guide is information on main hand restoration cost.
Hoping for improvements...

I have now received information on mainhand restoration cost, and updated the guide accordingly.
For those interested, the total required to update a weapon set is as follows:
5500 Abandoned treasures. Very easy
35 Petrified Dust, Tainted Soil, Constructed Iron or Fleece. (Bound purple materials) Easy.
50 Vial of Fey Blood, Volatile Ichor, Spell Amber or Ground Jade. (Unbound purple materials) Very easy.
105 Arcane Magical Writings. Slow, but doable. Requires a bit of work.
85 Arcanic Focus. Very slow. Requires extensive grinding, and will typically take three times as long as the other materials.

Something I don't understand, earlier guides used jade in the restoration, I don't see it here

IS there somewhere a list/overview of Security & Resist Ritual costs? I never know which one is most efficient, e.g. Resist the ritual - 30 resist points for 10 reclaimed magic at the resist sites 10 resist points for any kind of HE (or are large HE 20 points?) any other?

Resistance: 30 points for donating to altar near ritual HE, costs 10 reclaimed magic 5 points for completing small HE, 10 points for big HE (mind you I paid attention doing ship one, maybe counterattack gives more) 5 points for picking up treasures using treasure maps (the ones you get in dig sites)
Security: 5 points for upgrading guard post, costs 5 or 10 reclaimed resources (type and cost depends on the upgrade) 15 points for donating to treasure ship, costs 50 recliamed resources (any) 1 point for activating dig site (not buying pass, actually activating the thing) 1 point for killing mobs on map (1 point per mob) - works with most random mobs from any of the factions, mobs that DON'T count: enemy waves attacking guard posts, mobs in HEs and dig sites + it generally doesn't work in party (as a friend explained to me you need to be far away and not in line of sight for anyone to get points which defeats the purpose of being in a party...)
Well, broke 100 dig site runs today, probably sitting at around 120. I currently have 18 Arcanic Focus to my name. I ran sixteen dig sites today, got one arcanic focus on my first run, and not a one in the next fifteen.
Not going to lie, this is really exacerbating the grind fatigue. Outside of Storm King's Thunder I've enjoyed pretty much every mod in this game thoroughly. These last two have felt like more of a chore than a pleasure though. I was hoping mod 11 with all the talk about "choose how you want to progress" and whatnot would be better, but it turns out that I have everything else for my weapon and I'm going to be stuck running literally hundreds of really kind of meh mini-instances to get where I'm going - and how many more days like today am I going to have in the course of that?
Cryptic, you have made a mistake with this one. I'm not attempting to pull the melodramatic freakout routine you guys deal with all the time over every little thing, but this mod is the worst chore I've faced in this game since grinding Linu's Favor - but this mod doesn't seem to have nearly as much going for it as the dragon one did. I'd just like to enjoy the game, but my experience today, and for the past few days, was profoundly unenjoyable. Nobody wins with this type of grind.
Third day in a row I did five dig sites on my DC and got zero focus. Strange it seems the first toon I do the dailies with never seem to get a focus at all. Then I switch to my second toon and almost always get a focus on the first dig site. Sometimes even on the second dig site as well. Then dry, maybe one more on my 3rd or 4th toon. Wouldn't surprise me if the focus drop is tied to the account somehow given how f-edup the drop rate is.
Anyways, I'm still averaging less than one focus per toon per day. Not worthwhile pounding the dig sites any more until they sort it out. I have hundreds of reclaimed magic on all four of my toons and will complete my dailies doing ship and turning in magic at ritual sites.
Thank you guys who put effort into making this and to those who shared it here.

I'm going to continue doing a few dig sites a day, because it's actually working out fine *not* hitting them hardcore and getting 1-2 focus per day, and if they reduce the quantity needed, I might be in good shape when it gets patched. ymmv, etc.
Same with me... figured my purple quality water set from EE was working just fine still and not having any problems with new content,, so decided weapons can wait and I'll get them when I get them, and started unlocking everything else to get the boons... has made the new area pretty enjoyable for me by not getting caught up in the uber grind like others are
I have 17 Arcane focus, and I haven't been grinding for hours per day. Perhaps I will get more frustrated as I approach the end, but so far it isn't that bad.

Well, currently you can only get 3 per day, and you need 85 for each weapon set....so, just do the math - at the current rate, you will need additionally 4 times the time you have already spent. If you are fine with that, then that's great.
As a side note, campaign weaponry is only purchaseable after unlocking the first task on the bottom (clear the docks?). Not sure if the guide lists that.
