My idea was that SB considered more tanky, so when you go support, you're ok with sacrificing DPS in favor of more survivability and healing. But thanks for your input, there are several very interesting things I can try.
What is tankiness. Tankines is ability to withstand incoming hits. If you facing trashes, yea sure SB's borrowed time give u edge. But HB''s PoP give you DR buff..
Now with Borrowed time you don't get DR increase. so even if this class feature would be able heal like 2kkkkk HP per 2s. It will not help u withstand strong impact. Or if group of monsters manage land hits in same time frame..
For example, if u facing like 5 monsters in group. Each of them deal dmg which take 20% of your max HP. If one hit, = fine, if 2 hit still more less OK. But if 4 of them hit in same time. = bad thing.. If 5 of them land hit = dead.
So in endgame content I prefer PoP over Borrowed time...

Borrowed time offhandfeat spends 15% deflect (if sparks are up), this is remarkable in PVP and PVE.
Better than nothing, AS for pvp. In general just borrowed time HP regeneration is matter. Also I don't think templock gona go to pvp due glitch which due templocks aura of despair stack opposite factions deflect, boons/enchants. So boons which deal dmg by deflecting hits = templock killer. because aura of despair counted each seccond counts as hits. So even AFK player can kill templock.

When Cryptic made so that DC's Divine Glow could trigger weapon enhancements, they boasted it would apply on many powers that have both a damaging component and a healing component. You tell me it didn't encompass temp Lock Soul bonding nor syphoning curse... oooookaayyy... is it me or I sense the work of so many people there that nobody remotly knows what it means to fix an issue comprehensively?
Not knowing what you try to say...but if this issue is about warlock not working with healing feats, one reason is well known. Warlock + Burning Guidance = Server crashes, so they "fixed" it pre mod 6
Warlock class received some cosmetic changes in mod 10 where @amenar, did power recalibration, not balancing, but recalibration. We lost old TT daily power, but in exchange other powers deal dmg got boosted..
However, even then @amenar, wrote that he don't have much time to rework this tree. So more less, templock where abandoned for 4 modules, both by players and developers alike.
During NWO community stream, @mimicking#6533 , told that perhaps some class will get some balancing, either TR or SW. And I think it's gona be TR. So no changes toward templock in this 11 mod. So 5 modules, temptation haven't received changes.. So it's obviously that there are lot of bad power interactions, glitches and bugs.
Now speaking about bad interactions,, I can suggest that templocks would avoid pvp. Because templocks Aura of despair and seems all auras mechanic it'selfs have bad interactions within other powers, items/gear, and companions.
When opposite faction player get in templocks Aura of despair effect area.. each second spent there counts as hits which deal 0 dmg. However, due these continuous hits, it's triggering certain effects.
So far I tested some interactions.
=========================================================== Armor enchant > Trancend Shadowclad = When receiving damage each hit adds 10% to your Deflection rating and a 4% increase to your Damage Resistance for 8 seconds. This effect can stack a maximum of 8 times and expires when you successfully Deflect
When you successfully deflect an attack with 8 stacks of Shadowclad, your armor will Daze nearby foes for 1 seconds and place you in Stealth for 4 seconds. This effect cannot happen more than once every 30 seconds.
Note: U are dazed most of time in if u met guy who have this armor enchant.. And this is most popular enchant among pvp players. =======================================================
Now killing combo, Add Shadowclad and these boons.
================================================================= Fey Thistle = When you Deflect an attack you deal up to 3000 damage to your attacker. (Proc on every deflected attack. Debuff on attacker and his Damage Resistance affect damage)
============================================== Storm King's Thunder Campaign =Frozen Reflection =When you Deflect an attack you deal up to 5000/6000/7000 damage to your attacker. ======================================= ice wind dale = Avalanche = When damaged by a foe, chance to gain a stack of Avalanche. At 20 Stacks, taking damage will clear the stacks and deal up to 15000 damage to nearby targets. ===========================================
Note: opposite faction player don't even had to look in your templock, don't have to hit, don't need to anything.. Even AFK player can kill your templock.
And now funny part> usually when they deal dmg to templock it's counted as hit and don't get surprised to got struck with
Shadowtouch = When dealing damage you have a chance to deal 20000 Necrotic damage over a few (4) seconds. After this effect ends the target receives 25% less healing from spells for 10 seconds. (80s Internal Cooldown) (This ability has ~1% chance to proc on any attack, and can proc on any tick of a damage over time effect).
and other similar effects..

Now I haven't tested do aura of despair stack opposite factions twisted weapon set, or other powers.. But I would not be surprised if it would stack...

Cockatrice _ Active Bonus: On Damage Taken - 10% chance to root the source of the damage for 6 seconds (3 seconds if target is player). Applies to you as long as this companion is active.
Templock got Rooted by this effect even if opposite faction player is AFK <<< and u are not even hitting. Good side it's only 10% chance.. But in mass pvp case >DV, IWP, it's big problem.
===============================
So as you can see there are a lot of problems with templock And I can bet there are even more glitches/bugs..

This is just my findings on running one as my main character. There are major points to consider and a lot of work is needed to make it viable. This is definitely not suitable for most as this can definitely be susceptible to creating inadequate characters. Yes you can compare Templocks to other classes but that is not really the right mind set. I see a Templock as a support character, as if I would a CW running a Renegade Tree. So good DPS, some buffs/debuffs and high healing.
It is not hard to say that your DPS is halved. So therefore I have built more towards DPS with damage over time (dots) to try an alleviate this handicap. To create a a build that does high damage and with big heals constant healing with dots without being a poor DPS or a tank (although this may work at endgame). This is my current build a SW HB at 3.4k on Xbox One. Dread enchantment for crit severity encounters, debuff and dots. Arms of Hadar is spammable for trash or Warlock's Bargain/Killing Flames for bosses. Pillar of Power and Dreadtheft. Dark One's Blessings gives 10% lifesteal and more life steal severity. All Consuming Curse dps and dots. No bondings activated, arm pen at 60%, crit sits at 60%, power 35k. lifesteal 25%. Brutals on offence as you get half power and crit, with the rest from the companion to reach 100% critical. Defence is brutals for half hp and half defence. This is better for tanking, a higher hp pool and be able to take one shots better. I find over 40% life steal excessive Summoned companion fire archon (may change to sellsword/rebel mercenary). Has brutals and azures on offence, azures on defense. Actives air archon, earth archon, owlbear and lightfoot thief/wild hunt rider. Insignia bonuses - Wanderer's Fortune, Protector's Camaraderie and Friendship, Shepherd's Devotion (soloing with bondings this is at 80k, therefore 4k defense and deflect to allies) and Vampire's Craving (will drop this for Assassin's Covenant).
