Elemental Evil Campaign Question - Please help!

I have checked both Helm Hold and Reclamation Rock and there are no question marks anywhere that I can find showing available quests.

Yes, I am really new to this but I am old and doing it for both myself (love MMOs) and my grandsons aged 5 who love the battles and the various places.

I am stuck on Aid Captain Dunfield. I don't have anything that is yellow and needs to be collected/started, it just shows as Missing Requirements. When I click on it, it says to help Captain Dunfield in Memorial Hills and I have gone to Helms Hold but again, no quests there. It is showing Elemental Boots of the Black Earth as the reward along with 5 of the tokens.

I have checked my quest log against the Wiki for the campaign and am now going through my log against all the quests it has but so far I cannot find what I have missed.

If anyone could help, it would be very much appreciated. In the meantime, I am going to work the Fiery Pit as I am really enjoying trying to get this campaign finished.

Thanks,

Natarthos

PS I get my grandsons for the weekend every two (2) weeks so I have a couple of weeks to try and get further along. As I understand it, the more you do, the stronger you get and they like dragons so....got to get stronger! :-)

Aid Captain Dumfield is a campaign task. Open the campaign window, under reclamation rock, the next task to run should be "Aid Captian Dumfield". Running the task should open up the next quests.

Reclamation Rock's second quest hub is inside the cathedral, after which Councilwoman Callum would send you to meet Captain Dunfield at the third quest hub outside the city gates. If you don't see any !, just start talking to people with yellow names.

Helm's Hold is this zone in a prior timeline and will do you no good in EE, so don't bother trying there.

Ok, when I open the campaign window it shows the task as missing requirements; I am supposed to aid Captain Dunfield in Memorial Hills but though I found him, no quests. I am just kind of stuck. I have looked everywhere for things to start and complete but just stuck.

If you've out-leveled the area, the quest-givers won't have any exclamation points above their heads anymore. As becky said, if you don't see any, just start talking to people with yellow names.

Honestly, being able to out-level anything in endgame is stupid. Especially the EE zones.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

Press alt then open the Campaign Window - Aid Captain Dunfield is a Campaign task which needs you to complete a number of quests to collect five "Promises of Power" once you have those the "locked" or "missing requirements" bit on the Campaign WIndow should change to "Available" in Green

The prerequisite for Aid Captain Dunfield campaign task is that you have completed the lair quest the medusa guy Unrayle(sp?). If you have done that, Dunfield himself assigns you the quest to complete the Campaign task named after him. If he hasn't given you this quest, then you should backtrack to the Cathedral as Becky said and see if there are quests given there. If you completed the previous campaign tasks, you should have been given instructions to seek out Dunfield and start the final chain of quests.

If items to complete that task is 0/5 and the task before it is done, then it sounds like the OP should just be starting hub 3. EE quests don't get scaled up to level 70, so it should be possible to scroll your journal to the mid level 60s for clues.

I am pretty sure that you can't out level ! in EE anymore because they tweaked the markers (but should still just bleeding remove them because it's a stupid mechanic).

Someone just posted on Reddit that their Reclamation Rock quest log was bugged and would not show them a quest until they killed a random mob there. Please try that.

I have nothing to add here, but it's really cool to see all these great responses from people actually trying to be helpful. Good luck moving forward Natarthos, sounds like you've got a bunch of things to try.

I run into this a lot in my travels. It is just like the Neverdeath Graveyard where people lose the quest path to get to the end of the area. The biggest reason is not seeing a yellow exclamation icon over the Doomguides. This is mainly due to players leveling up beyond the objective which I find to be an obsolete system.

When lost please look at the wiki to see if you can find out who you need to talk to next. Here is a link to the quest chain for Reclamation Rock. I know this wiki is incomplete but sometimes it helps.
