Rank 3 Leatherworking Gathering

Is there a reason why the Rank 3 Deep Wilderness Gathering is set at 800 profession exp instead of 1200 compared to the rest (besides Alchemy)? It just seems there is no obvious logic to it. I can see Alchemy not getting skill ups unless you perform experiments.

There are a number of idiosyncrasies in thr professions. IIRC you can get the larger amount of XP doing the processing task. Artificing on the other hand doesn't do that, but the two tasks remain at 6 hours regardless of rank. I've leveled up all the professions and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason on the differences.

Honestly, the most probable answer is insufficient attention to detail while the values were being set. Don't try to find a logical reason to justify it.

Probably introduced as a bug, and now no one from Cryptic cares about these inconsistencies.
They need to squash bugs like key-gate.
