You down with OP...P?

I am at level 57 right now and really don't see the problem with this class. I never lose health and can hold aggro fairly well at the moment. I have ran the dungeons at my level and can probably solo, it would just take awhile. I know mod 10 is on ps4 in Oct and this class will be even better.

Yeah, OP is pretty overpowered. Protection pallies not as much as devotion pallies due to the bubble nerf. But devotion pallies can heal decently and their heals aren't based on rotations....it's pretty much walk by and poof, you're healed.

Pallys are a great class to play......
Over-powered not so much. Yes we can almost survive most thing that hit us but, most pally toon utilize the Paladin's damage adsorbtion ability to do this(i.e. Binding oath, and building a huge amount of temp hp). Threat is still a problem for most, but that can be worked around with the right stats & companions.

Me for one think we need a boost in damage output and the mechanics of threat gen for the class fix. So we don't have to be pin hole into the work around. Once this is fixed they should leave the pallys alone, because once the said problems are fixed, we would be able to fully do what we are intended to do. ( protect, take hard hits, and smile while doing so).

Also Allmighty the dungeon runs at 70 will change your mind about pallys being OP. Cause Orcus will make you regret that thought. But hey I may be wrong, you might have found a perfect build ,and are a beast that can tank end game material easily.

    Just my thoughts.

    Tank well my friend.

I will have to see. I have a TR that I run those with and understand they get harder. Tanking is so much fun though. I hope it works out good when I get my IL up and can do the epics and masters.

I usually don't like melee classes in games but I really do love the OP in Neverwinter. So much so that it's my main class on both the XBOX and PS4, with the PC remaining a toss up between my main CW and my main DC and my main OP trailing in behind them. I say "main" for the PC because I have 3-4 characters for each class there. My oldest two are 'Old Zeb' (my main mage) and Daxx Dae'Vesh (my main DC), both of whom I've played since Alpha (they were re-rolled for live of course).

how in the world do you have time to play this game with multiple characters on all platforms... lol

holding aggro is a little odd. i can pull aggro from a GF, but someone's earth archon can pull it and keep it from me. and it's primarily an issue on single target bosses, not so much when there are mobs.

but yeah, i love playing paladin, especially utilizing lifesteal as it opens up more flexibility and you have to actually pay attention instead of just sitting there.

    Soonergm.

    Utilizing life steal???
I never thought of using that. I been building up deflect, that's helps a lot. But life steal hmmm makes the gears turn.
    Sounds very interesting.
