Tyranny of dragons question

I've noticed leveling pre-lvl 60 is pretty fast and you don't need every zone to get to 60 and I was just curious if you do skip a zone that has something to do with tyranny of dragons will you still be able to do the dailies for it or do you need to do the entire zone quest line first?

The post from drathmor answer is incorrect.

You don't need to do the zone at all. Tod is completely separate, even though it partially takes place in existing zones. The campaign doesn't care if the ToD quests are your first and only quests in a zone.

you will need to do the zone before you can do the daily for that area. but you are able to go back to them later if you skiped them

What you are saying is that I can play my character from level 4-60 in my guild. From there I can play EE and other campaigns without ever running any other area? If so, double XP days will be enjoyable for me as I have 5 alts I want to level up but have been holding them off until I see a double XP time show up for PS4.
