Flax Flower respawn rate changed?

It seems to me that the Flax Flower respawn rate has changed. I really hope not. NOT because I want the easy completion of the daily quest for my toons... BUT... more because it's a very PETTY and STINGY thing for the devs to waste their supposed LIMITED time and programming resources on.

This is NOT the first example of things that have been changed in place of fixing things that really matter. If there is something that you guys notice is wrong with an event.... (an event that's only 1 week more).... how about you slate it for fixing before next time the event comes up? and maybe fix some of the things that have been broken since Mod 5... lol.

I mean.. respawn rate of Flax Flowers being too fast is.. um... not that serious.

(I do apologize if I'm wrong about this being changed... but I was proud of the devs not wasting time nerfing somethings that are obviously not working as intended in the event, but could be costing them money. That is something that makes them look like their NOT trying to bleed every penny out of their player-base... unlike some other changes.)

    I think you are wrong. I've noticed that instances with few players have a slow respawn rate. Instances with lots of players have a fast respawn rate. That may not directly be related, but I've observed instances where I had to run all over the map because of slow respawn and instances where flax respawned faster than I could pick it.

    For whatever reason, there's a slower respawn rate at some times or in some instances. I haven't been able to figure out a pattern to it, but most of the time it's nice and quick. Been like this since the event started.

    Seems like every time someone complains about the respawn rate being made slow, they've been back to correct themselves later. Whatever makes it slower at times isn't global.

    Up until today.. that's been my experience.. the only time I had to wait any significant amount of time was when someone was looting it too. Then i would just to another. but, usually I could jsut run between 2 flowers and I'd have to wait maybe half a second for each.

    All I can suggest is trying a different instance.

    Ok, good to know it'll come back. I'm really not wanting to lose respect for Cryptic's attitude to money in game. I've been tempted to, at times, in STO, and here in NW... but overall they have seemed to be generous. I think MONEY GRABS would kill the game... so... maybe I worry too much. :D


    Maybe it's jsut the time of day.. i don't usually play at this time.

    Changing the spawn rate of something thats in the world is not something that would take more than a couple seconds.
