Hmm ok so lets put it like this, math wise that is
So the summary so far would be:
~~ 200 sahha ball games and out of those cca 5400 volleys cca 110-130 mithral tickets (not 100% sure because went to exchange for coffer in hopes of something a few times ) cca 500 silver tickets - regular drops and reward ones combined ( with mithral ones giving consolation prizes ) cca 450 copper tickets ( + 46(?) for first volley and + 46(?) for another ability -- didnt buy anything else with them yet cca 120-140 tarmalune trade bars
Those are jut my stats, not counting anything from the rest of the party members.
So in total for a full party it would be about 25,000 volleys for something between 500-600 tickets, about 2500 silver ones and about the same of copper ones, of which noone that i know got anything (well other than more silver tickets and trade bars from mithril ones). Now i know its all RNG and so on and so on... but the mere fact that you get an average of 100 mithril tickets and cca 500 copper ones on 5000 volleys just for the 1st part of RNG game, is well .... GG
Now i know that there's gonna be someone who's gonna play some free games, when they reach 300, they'll get their first mithral ticket and get something legendary, its the "luck of the draw" i suppose, but on the other hand this was also an extreme example where lots of zen was spent (not complaining...) for a lot of games that a lot of players won't get to play during the whole event... IMHO, those rng "gods", especially when you have to go through 2 of them, should be a bit differnet, or at least one of them ....
Cesoso, yeah 10-15 balls per person, and yeah 3 wasted hours, but the brutals aren't a bad consolation, one rank 7 sells for 30-40,000 diamonds so 25 isn't a bad return....the zen is $15 for 2000 right now so you can get 10 balls for $7.50, and then get about a million diamonds by selling the brutals....the exchange rate on Xbox right now is way less than that

I understand the game part. How do you get 'volleys'. What do you need to set that up, and how do you initiate it? (Just so I can see it once... obv the goals are out of reach.)
The concept looked fun, anyway... Cept I can rarely see the ball.
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

You equip the ball in a potion slot and use it. Then just keep it from hiting the ground until you reach 30 volleys at which point it will explode.
After playing a good number of Sahha games I have a total of 6 copper tickets... and I need to spend 3x 48 tickets to learn the other 3 Sahha skills? On top of the 880 I need for the fashion items?
If you take a moment to read the previous posts before replying, you'll see that the developers stated most tickets will come from the friendly volley parties, not the competitive matches.
I do realise that, however, tickets do indeed drop from Sahha games, I was just commenting on how few actually do drop is all, which as the dev pointed out was intended. I disagree with that decision, I think that if the low copper ticket drop rate is working as intended then they should have added other methods for us to get them, other than the Zen Store!
If the low copper ticket drop rate is not intended then I hope they fix it soon! I participated in a volley party with 5 players and we managed a total of 367 volleys... I only received 44 copper, 8 silver, and 0 mithril tickets total!
I can't think of another queue event with such limited rewards. no enchants, no chance at the clothing items (at least that I've heard) or anything else in the store. normally with something like this there is at least a rare chance for store items to drop. the tickets should be guaranteed x per match with a chance at greater and a chance at silver or mithral. you should be able to grind. this is ridiculous. and the ball odds are SO SO low. WHy would I choose to buy balls when the drop rates are so bad. with the winter event it was a good drop rate adn even the fails gave something. I spent some money on winter fest. this is just bad.
Shorter characters such as halflings and dwarves seem to be at a real disadvantage in the sahha volley event match, I personally run a human but it seemed that in the 2 matches I ran today the dragonborn and human characters were the only ones getting most of the volleys, just an observation.
Thanks for the report nightranger! Sounds like those humans and dragonborn just got a little more practice in before the match. The hitboxes for the abilities are independent of the player model. We're not actually doing anything based on your character's height.
Yep, I just played 2 halfling toons. One was defending and pass only one goal coz let them came to close for save. We won as 3 halfling, 1 tiefling, one human party. Another one I was mid (central) and won alot balls, even few goals. Race is not problem there...
Take the free balls and wait till the Height of the summer festival where they may double the tickets...otherwise, do what you can, buy it off the AH if you want...and be happy. They are obviously taking the idea that not everything should be open to everyone anymore..as even fashions have to be gated.
Course, its only 5 months till the winter event and this all will likely be in it for free. Keep in mind, the winter event drops ALL items that have been included in events the year prior, which means the Disk will also be included, and all the epic mounts too. Course, there is nothing that says Cryptic has to follow there own rules.

asterdahl said in the other thread, that tickets are excluded, so it doesnt matter, when you use the saha ball i was hoping too, that the final week would make it easier to get missing coppertickets
Yep, I was just about to come here and post that actually, as I was the one who asked that question on the other thread that he answered! I, too, was hoping the ticket-balls would drop tickets at an improved rate, but I can see his point, many people would be upset if that happened!
Well, off to volley the ticket-balls I have saved up. One good thing to note from that other thread is that while kicking the ticket-ball you only want one person to volley it at a time, and wait at least 1 second between hitting it to ensure maximum rewards.
I love the sahha game. We have a lot of fun playing and is an interesting break. I don't mind the out of bounds because the kickoff is our best offensive play.

EDIT: *: Based on data from 13,337 volleys.
