I don't understand the "have to do it NOW". You have a week. Dragon runs are good for coffers and there is usually one every hour.
Dragon runs that actually kill dragons can be hard to find. Every now and again, I luck into one but that's about it. I have no time to spend looking for groups to do successful dragon runs.
Killing the Cultists/Thayans can be done while doing other quests in the zone. TMS has a nice collection of captive Thayans to kill.
And there in lies the problem. If you only go to WoD for the weekly AD quest, which other quests are you refering to ? With the other weekly quests, you only have to do one quest to get the AD reward, i.e. Arcane Reservoir in Sharandar, Biggrin's Tomb in IWD and Portal to Tuern in PE. Why does the WoD weekly quest have to be so convuluted ?

Because it's disproportionate compared to the length of other weeklies, and some would like to get them out of the way in one tidy fell swoop. The WoD weekly presents quite the speed bump to this and the rewards are inferior with regards to the time necessary to complete it. Again, as I've stated at least twice--the DR weekly provides better rewards and takes a tenth of the time. Both DR and Sharandar weeklies provide useful refining stones--whereas the WoD weekly does not.
A little parity--either in time required or rewards offered--isn't too much to ask for.

If they added a Linu's Favor to the rewards for the weekly, I'd probably definitely do it (because I f'n HATE Tiamat). I would not do it just for resonance stones, because Bruenor's quests give such buckets of XP, even though I don't run every single one of those (some are too annoying). More resonance stones would be nice though, no denying.
As it stands, I've abandoned WoD altogether, until such a time as my guild is lacking Treasures of Tyranny (which we're currently capped on and a *long* way off being able to build anything that'll use them). Ain't no-one got time for that!
When I did go adventuring in WoD, I'd run Heralds and a single run would be sufficient for one character's weekly Hoard. I have a couple of bank slots occupied with coffers leftover from these, awaiting the day that I run some WoD again. Any character I only had running quests would get topped off from these as much as needed to finish Hoard, and all excess coffers get added to my stash rather than turned in.

I am doing daily because that contributes 2/15 of one Linu's Favor per day. Since I do daily, I also complete weekly in the process.

So having content that actually requires you to run content is bad.
Okay...
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

There's a difference between running interesting content, e.g. Biggrin and the Arcane Reservoir, and running tedious content such as go out and kill 50 Thayans and Cultists and pick up some hoard coffers while you're doing it.

So there's a difference between "fast" and "takes a little more time". Got it.
As for your earlier comment on the dragon runs, there is always a 30+ body run whenever I'm in the zone. I rarely tap the runs myself, so it may just be a matter of when you're playing in there. I know there are times when there are very few instances active (like 3), but usually there are around 8 or 9.
