I was forced to take a break from the game after those changes went live.
Before that I really used to enjoy the class, it was my dungeon running main class, back then I felt as if I was in control of every encounter in a dungeon, I had to time and and properly rotate my powers to be as effective as possible.
Now the DC class is a spam class, the class used to be fun, the encounters used to be fun, Astral shield, forgemaster flames all had cool effects when cast in divinity.
But now the class is not even based on skills anymore, heals are so powerful even the least competent player can heal properly.
I doubt this will ever happened but if they ever go back to the old DC route that would be great, and they could have just buff some of the powers rather than changing their effects, and this stacking empowerment system got to go.
I can dream, anyway just wondering if anyone else would prefer the old DC.

Before the rework a DC just dropped a divine astral shield and then did whatever, the least competent player could do that. Now to be good you have to understand 9 versions of the skills, basic, divine and empowered, and know what to cast when to be most effective. So i guess if you are looking for a skill less class DC is not a good fit that is true, for that you can go play a Devotion paladin where all that needs to happen is spam tab and burning light (yes, there are improvements that can be made to that, but that will heal any dungeon practically with your eyes closed).
