Talking about Guild Alliances update, it is supposed to hit tomorrow 6/7.
Can someone confirm this, so will we have patchday on Tuesday?

Yep, I know, 3GB prepatch and stuff, but even in the linked thread there is no new information.
Would be nice to know it a bit before the usual 2 minute notice ....

Yes, the Alliance launch means there will be maintenance. They can't launch it without.

Expect normal maintenance on Thursday too though. There will be things that need fixing (this is why they do launches on Tuesdays now).

I am more concerned that no announcement for tomorrow was posted - maybe they decided to fix the issue that unalianced guilds can't build and old guilds can't invite to a alliance in the last moment.

Unless they include a fix that's not on preview right now, guilds that pre-date the removal of Gauntlegrym Factions (which includes every major guild in the game), cannot accept guild invitation requests. They fixed the bug where you can't actually invite, or be invited by, such guilds, but as it stands so far, those guilds cannot accept guild invitation requests. It remains to be seen how much of an issue this will actually turn out to be, or if it's even a problem once the update hits production. I guess we'll see tomorrow!

yes to bondings can't say on packs as for some reason they tend to be announced and tested after live gets updated.

If (cough) class booster packs for the remaining classes are released, it's unlikely to be all at once, and they'll be doled out one by one over coming weeks.

Andy seems to have been dropping the ball on announcements lately. Did he go on an unannounced vacation or meet an unannounced and untimely demise?

To be fair, it's not his fault. If he doesn't have the go-ahead to publish anything, nothing gets published. And the twin juggernaut of PS4 and M10 would be dwarfing this update, as far as all staff time-management goes. The lack of communication and interaction has been... less than ideal, but I think it's the usual problem of being forced to move on to the next thing before really being done with the current thing.

Lets not roast Andy, I think he does a darn good job....I'm sure any lack of information is due to him having a lack of any to share...

Don't forget the obligatory hot fix. Or unscheduled downtime Wednesday. At least Cryptic are reliable when it comes to that
