There is an old saying: Americans spent millions of dollars to invent a pen that would work in outer space. The Russians just used pencils. Why make bots legal when they can just remove the RP system altogether or drastically lower the amounts of RP to upgrade?
4 hours of dungeon grind to get 30k ad? Seriously you can run 5 elol easily in 1 hour and that should be more than enough to get 30k ad and you should get horn more than once a month by that amount of grind.

But other thing is that the attempt to make 30k AD per single character player with 4h is biggest flaw. Half of this value can be made playing literally in 20-30 minutes, without being in super dooper guild or alliance with gh20 boons.
In general i stick to principle, if something doesn't make more than 700-1000 AD/per minute should not be played at all unless it some boon progression or sh tax.

The existence of ZAX according to developers is to offer players that have money but no time, a way to compensate to not running the content daily. And to offer players that have no money but have time, a way to acquire services that can only be obtained through money.
Unfortunately the reality is different.
At this moment there is nothing worth to buy converting ZEN to AD, since RP can be botted the value of AD is diminished. Is possible to build a large stock of AD either boting or through gameplay.
No matter how much money you spend, there is no way to acquire underdark legendary rings +5, since they are bound to account. With the ridiculous low drop chances, getting the new orcus set, is not worth no pay for it at this moment. Purchasing an artifact set like Lostmauth or Valindra, cost around 500k AD, and is green quality! Upgrading a companion is cheaper by purchasing with ZEN that upgrading it from scratch There is no real way to obtain coalescent wards other than pay for it. (because having 50 characters invoking is not comfortable without botting) just to mention some examples.
I currently run 5 characters with leadership at maximum, at it's not enough to fulfill my requirements for my main character.
I think three main changes will benefit Neverwinter's community. -bound to character attribute should disappear, and everything should be bound to account, this way, upgrading your equipment like artifacts or companions will not feel like a waste if you decide to try a new character.
-everything should be buyable from campaign stores and unbound. Legendary rings, artifacts, companions, mounts, wards, purple refining stones, should cost a large amount of campaing currency. I don’t care if a ring costs 300 twisted ichor, or a lostmauth horn cost 100 linu’s favor, or if a legendary mount cost 1000 of each campaign currency. It is still better to know my farm will have an end, that fight against a RNG, so once I have stuff for my character, I can sell other stuff for playing the game. This way people who pays, want buy items for other players who spend time in the game.
-The last change is everything that can be boted, should become bound to account. This way botters will not affect game economy
This is just my opinion, I really don’t know if that will work. But what I really know is this game is losing players due the difficult way to progress through the end.
