Elemental Aggregate and Unified Elements

wizardsleeves69wizardsleeves69 Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 32 Arc User
Both elemental aggregate and unified elements seem to be shooting up in price on the AH right now, EA a bit faster than UE but they both seem to have become more scarce. Was something done to change the way they are farmed by bots or their drop rates or something? I saw another post with people complaining about the price of r4 and r5 stacks, is this tied in with that?

Unless they were being farmed by bots, I can't imagine there were really that many people leveling 60-70 at any given time to have it change the market value for them. Then again, bots are all over this game now so that very well may have been the case.

you still get them, but have to check hourly tasks, it is random, it was preventive measure on bottings.
i am glad that i got few unifieds few days ago for black ice rank 4 and rank 5 crafting profession, it was all i needed, the rest of "extras' became useless once all the character alts are done, until devs do some upgrading in future patches with next new armor sets.

Something which requires regular checks throughout the day for a random benefit sounds like the exact opposite of "bot prevention". That's "bot encouragement".

This game is heaven for bots. No matter what dev's will do bot can replicate the idea and automate it.
Purging enchants from skill nodes huh? it took the dev's years (!?) to do this, yeah that's a mastermind action right there lol.

I don't want to be all sarcastic and judgemental but a simple BTA for all node enchants would work much, much better.

These things take 7 and 14 days to craft. That's the insanity and why the price will probably shoot up more.

Double profession ressources is close, and since you can find elemental aggregate and unified elements on Tymora's gifts, prices may decrease for a period of time. There're dozens of thousands of those gifts, so you could expect a lot will be open on this week-end, and all these ressource to be sell

Double professions also drives up the price of UE now since it's the optimal time to upgrade black ice forges, so people will buy up what they need for every character they want to get an upgraded forge for.

I was so happy seeing your post. Thinking that I can go back to UE production to earn some AD again. Then, I check the AH price. The price is still too lousy for me to produce them. It was at least 50K each. Sigh!

UIs and EAs can both drop from skill nodes, but not really often enough to keep botters in business. Low prices on them was a byproduct of botting for RP though.

4 days if you do it right.
