Air Tomes quests removed :-(

I just completed the new, revamped Elemental Evil Campaign on my SW. Much as I liked the removal or the vigilance quests, I was really disappointed to find that the only entertaining part of the whole EE Mod has been removed from Spinward Rise. You can no longer fly through the air to recover the three Air Tomes. This was the only thing that brought a little fun to the whole mindnumbing process. I have even taken both my CW and HR back there a few times just for a little light relief from the regular bind by doing a couple of these. Now that will never happen again. I thought one of the objectives was to remove the grind and leave the fun to make this a more bearable experience. Instead, it is now just a shorter but still totally mindnumbing grind. Please can we have the Air Tomes Quests back. Pretty please with sugar on :)

That's a real shame, I loved these quests too. They were the only good ones in that area imo.

+1. Those were my favorite quests in Spinward Rise!

I am the worst at platforming, but I actually kind of ended up liking these.

Are the glide points still there? They're needed to reach scrying orbs.

My first character had lots of survivability issues by this point in the game, so the tome quests were an easy way to make progress and get XP without having to burn through HP potions (and gold) and lots of time trying to kill things. I learned a lot about which quests aren't worth the time and effort and which ones are, and if you're playing a dodging class or are good at timing your running jumps then these were no-hassle, highly efficient quests to run.

Who did you get it from ? I did all of the available non-optional quests and did not receive any of the air tome quests which is why I started this thread. If they are still there somewhere, I really would like to know where :)

I just got it again on another character. I think it becomes available when you reach thunderhead reach, I'm not sure.

OK, just taken my SW back to Spinward Rise and you're right, the quest is there :) The downside is that there is no reward offered for completing it :/ On a more positive note, completing it does give you access to the quest to find the Greater Tome which does reward you with an Elemental Air resource. Maybe completing that gives you access to the final quest. I will look into it later. Many thanks for finding this :)

OK, you do get the final quest which again offers just a piece of Elemental Air as a reward. I will go back again later to see what happens when you complete that one.

Hm, after you complete the third quest...that's it. The Harper does not appear to offer them again. Nice to have one last go on them but I really, really would like to see them reinstated as a repeatable, reward earning task in this area.
