- Directed story content to take players through Fiery Pit.

    Bug: Gear: Eternal Flame armor.
Spec: Male Half-orc Great Weapon Fighter.
The Eternal Flame set doesn't have any models. All of its pieces are invisible.

Einsieg, can you specify your character's gender + class for this?

More caveat than feedback, but the weapon formerly awarded from one of the Firey Pit wrapper quests has been cosmetically popular, though not completely unique. It used a skin shared with crafted Aryvandaar items (expensive, chance to fail at making).

I don't think any of the equipment obtained from old!EE was actually unique, but it did tend to borrow an appearance from items players might be unaware of due to them being old quest rewards they didn't examine at the time. For example, the torso armors usually used the same model as players got for finishing the Skull Fortress in Pirate's Skyhold.

As such, I don't think introducing items in new!EE actually eliminates any cool cosmetics, but it does run some risk of making them harder to find.

    Bug: Quest: Thorny Issue
I took a level 70 character who had already completed Fiery Pit back to the zone. Farah Dahl offered a non-repeatable quest called "Thorny Issue". The quest was to kill Hellthorn Golems. It had no rewards and resolved immediately after being accepted.

    Feedback: First section quests
    • "The Gauntlgrym Reports": No issues
    • "A Test for Gauntlgrym": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Burning Sensation": No issues.
    • "Mushroom Medic": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Crystal Coercion": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Traitorous Scum": No issues.
    • "Saving Our Spy": No issues. Good lair. I was happy the final room didn't involve getting buckets of water from the fountain. That former mechanic was clunky.
    • "Connecting the Dots": No issues. Good quest. However, the Emberclaw heroic encounter was not active, so I wasn't able to judge how badly it interferes with the quest.
    • "Hostile Neighbors": No issues.
    • "The Missing Spy": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Quell Hounds": No issues.
    • "Olgi Fren'rah": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Geyser Samples": The Emberclaw heroic encounter was active, so I went to the geyser up on the ledge near Olgi Fren'rah. Each geyser cycle, you can collect 6 to 7 samples by spamming the 'F' key. So it takes about 6 geyser cycles to get the 40 samples. It's rather boring.
    • "Lights Out" No issues. Good lair. Again, I'm glad that the water-bucket mechanic is gone.
    • In general, this section is much improved from Live. The new quest pairings always send you to either the west-side or east-side, not both. So the quests have good synergy. The Emberclaw heroic encounter is still an annoyance. Reducing his aggro range (to zero?) might help.

    Feedback: Second section quests
    • "The Searing Sentinels": No issues.
    • "Services Rendered": The Mithral Ingots should stack higher than 10, since you need 12. Good quest otherwise.
    • "Tactical Ventilation": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Torch Bearer": No issues. I got my 12 torches after 28 kills. Good drop rate.
    • "What the Blazes?": No issues. Good lair.
    • "Hot to Handle": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Snuff Out the Flames": No issues. 45 kills is a bit grindy, but there are lots of Fire Archon packs.
    • "Target: Singe": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Spiker Striker": No issues.
    • "Trial by Fire": Fiery Pit's version of "Taking Measures". It's a miserable experience, but at least there's no time limit. So you can set your own pace for letting enemies beat on you over and over and over. There should be a "HAMSTER" title for completing Trial by Fire and Taking Measures. Better yet, you could replace these two quests and give everyone an "Avoided Torture" title.
    • "Controlled Burn": No issues. 29 kills to get 15 scrolls. Good drop rate, but it's irrelevant because Trial by Fire takes so long.
    • "The Spy Who Backstabbed Me": No issues. This is the third visit to the Excavated Tomb lair. I danced in the fountain after killing the boss. So happy about not fumbling with buckets of water.

For all that I hated "Taking Measures", I found this one not so bad except for the tendency for random passers-by to casually nuke a carefully isolated archon I was letting beat me up. Dismiss any companions and just stand there, drinking a potion every so often. Boring and requires some extreme metagaming, but over with a relative quickness.

I guess that's the difference between withstanding 40 attacks and taking 500000 damage. The former requires only that something attack you at all, and doesn't break down if your character is designed to mitigate damage like crazy.

Not an immersive experience though. Either one, really.

Trial by Fire isn't 40 attacks anymore. It's 250k damage. Taking Measures is 250k damage in 15 minutes.

Yikes. (What would we do without you actually taking the time to play through the entire thing?)

My feedback then is to change both to withstanding X attacks then, because it's a way less obnoxious mechanic than having to take damage, and allows keeping the feel of both quests since the objective seems to be to reframe all the former vigilance tasks into a narrative.

    Feedback: Third section quests:
    • "Barrier to Entry": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Pillage First": No issues.
    • "Never Betray a Lord": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Sabotage": No issues. I would have preferred to do "The Plumbing Job" vigilance task instead. Killing Saboteurs and fixing leaks is more interesting than just killing Saboteurs.
    • "Angry Waters": No issues. This is a very short lair. 6 enemy groups and nothing tougher than a Razorblast. Making the encounter groups a bit stronger might help.
    • "Slaves to Business": No issues. The prisoners are a little hard to spot, but otherwise a good quest.
    • "Financial Tracking": There's a map bug which I will describe below. Otherwise a good quest.
    • "Saddle Down": No issues.
    • "Brute Squad": No issues.
    • "Cache on Delivery": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Target: Nuria Pyrellis": No issues. Good quest.
    • "Ring of Fire": No issues. Good lair. I amused myself by imagining Vanifer wearing a Bane mask:
Adventurer: Well, congratulations! You got yourself caught! Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Vanifer: Crashing this cistern... with no survivors!

Vanifer: No, they expect one of us in the wreckage, Jaka.
Jaka: Have we started the fire?
    Vanifer: Yes. The fire rises.

    Bug: Quest: Financial Tracking
For some reason, the map tracker suggests an area unrelated to the quest. See the red circle on my map.

    Bug: Quest: Controlled Inferno (Optional)
Harper Simmons' name isn't properly capitalized. It's possible that Harper Simmons' "Slow Burn (Optional)" and "Extinguish the Fire (Optional)" quests share this typo, if it's a case of copy-paste. I didn't notice it in the earlier quests.

Hi, I'm unable to finish the Fiery Pit/ Elemental Evil campaign. I have 4 of 5 Corrupted texts and there are no missions available for me there from any NPC.
Also, I do not have a mission assigned that would reward me with the missing text.
It's for the last block on the top "Secrets of eternal flame"

    Help!
