Every zone have a specific zerg time, i did the crazy fire runs for one week or 8 hours per day few weeks ago. If no one is doing then u should camp the map and note all HE uptime. If no one organising a zerg party, then u are the one to do so. All of us did this like this, crab can be done within 2 min each with extreme dps party, for fire the fastest is 12 min, with limited instance. If u want to grind for fire, think wisely before u go for it.
There is a legitimate complaint here. Water is arguably the easiest, and fastest, given it's popularity due to the self-healing nature of the weapon. Fire is also popular, but for more grindy given the lengthiness of the HE. Air and Earth? Ugh. Far less attractive weapons, and as a result far less people grinding them, which makes them much more difficult to obtain.
The weapons need to either be buffed somewhat, or the HEs themselves should be re-evaluated for how motes drop (for example, have the small 5-mans give 1 mote; 10s give 1-2; and the 15+s give 2-3. And then either do away with the wands, or allow for a double-mote drop during a 30min window or something like that).

Granted I play during European times, but for the last 10 or so Fire HE's I've tried, its just been me or 1-2 more. And that's why I have given up trying anymore.
air weapon bonus is nice I just finish it after allmost two months of chinese farming
* try to make one or two mots a day, if you want do more but don't try to do only this * unless you have good 3.5K GWF with you, dont try to do the mistral point. its waste of time (around 50% fail without high level GWF) * mistral point is 100% mot only if you participate from the begining * the fastest way is the simple HE, if you can do it duo or with 3 ppl its faster * focus on one or two zones (around 4 HE) * at the end you will have to do around 500-1000 HE

No. Somewhat quicker with a buddy or two, but if you can't solo at least some minor HEs in Spinward, then that's a build/gear/gameplay issue at this point, or you are playing a low-DPS class. The elemental one is easier than the cultist one because the boss and mobs are squishier.
I agree that there are insufficient small HEs in Firey Pit to make a solo mote grind viable. Probably most people who were going for Burning have opted for Twisted instead/after all.
we need devs to aware of this problem with 100 motes format, many got fed up and some are already burned out. these need to be pull out and reform, and it suppose to be a random drop by any mobs in that zones instead of farming same HE all day, tying up players' time isnt good. just like those dragon coin dropped in WoD, how hard is that? devs, i hope you listen to that solution i provided.

SW is a DPS class, but HE are hard to me. When more hard, more useless is wand.

Devs brought new (artificial) life to these big he. Not for long i guess, likely till another artifact set introduction (knowing past cryptic actions, it will "surprise" in mod 10). Fire pit HE was pretty dead before, mod 8 and voila, forgotten content becomes very popular. I actually found grind fun, mostly because i tracked and reported timers to zone chat for 4 characters, so it was crazy experience. I didn't notice anyone managing timers in Spinward, recently i did spend some time there. Without timers and coordinated zerg it is hard to get even water weapon reasonably fast.

In spinward on fairly geared dps toon u can go up to 18 HEs in 30 min. If u find empty map.
Its not that bad overall. If u r squish, just team up with friend or friends. Its 1 weekend of farming rly.
