weapon enchant for a power build

Looking to make my gwf more build than crit. But what would be the best weapon enchant for that?

Trans plague? Fey touch? Lightning?

And by power build I mean that I'll be staking power in all my offense slots and artifacts. I'll still run the lol set because of its awesomeness, I'm just not going to stack crit, crit severity and vorpal.

Trans Fey if u PvP.

Not really, don't have alot of time to play as is, and it's just an alt I run pve with.

Don't have the time to farm the pvp gear for him.

if you are looking to get most out of you Lostmauth Set then you need to get your crit to 100% then stack power and use Vorpal Enchantment.

Don't use Lostmauth if you dont plan on stacking crit out the HAMSTER.

What else would a GWF use??? The Valindra set for a control bonus? He'll still get *more power* and *some crit* as well as arpen. When he does crit, he'll get the extra hit. He didn't say he was purposefully de-stacking crit.

I don't have an opinion on the enchants, however. I have seen a lot of GWFs doing great with either Terror or PlagueFire in PVE. My understanding of PlagueFire is that it won't stack with another PlagueFire in use in the same party. If your alt is mostly solo, it won't matter and PF is a pretty inexpensive enchant.

Thank you for saying the obvious about the elol set. It really is no wonder why there's so many bad people playing this game.

The set gives me crit, arp, power. +str/dex,and action point gain. What else would I use?


Got arp to 60%, crit is at 51%, 38k power. Using trans PF. I love it, actually am in love with it.

Hum......PVE only i would go with PF, the risk of having another person with a Fey in the party is high, i doubt lighning could get anywhere near Plague in single target. Now, im not sure if it's woth not getting bruttals over radiants by using the owlbear cub, in fact i dont know how far this could be viable over critic build with severity now reaching such high amounts.

Plaguefire is a completely respectable enchant on a GWF and before the Lostmauth set existed and 100% crit chance was possible, it was a high recommendation even for party play, as the GWF is capable of hitting a lot of stuff fast and keeping stacks up. I used to run it and really liked it.

I have a second-string GWF that has far more power than crit (was Senti but I respecced for efficiency). Weapon enchant is Bronzewood, which suffers from poor uptime, but if you get used to timing attacks around the buff, it's very effective. It only boost personal DPS, but this is a character I just use to run a few extra weekly quests and DR lairs. Trans is meant to boost party damage but I've seen reports it's broken. Mine is only perfect.

Um how does anyone play anything other then a crit build? The gwf is one of the easier classes to get up to 100 percent crit rate and most of our damage is used threw at wills so only real option is vorpal. My gwf is 3.4 til and he still sits around 30k power and is at a stand still of 56% crit rate but in combat hits 100 percent and his power gets up to 47k on my own bonding buffs.

You wanna first decide if this is going to be a PvP or PvE GWF, as a PvP GWF focused more on raw Power and armpen, for PvE Crit bascially doubles your dmg, which means with 100% crit chance they will need A LOT less power to achieve the result a high power build outputs. So yea with the current meta high Crit build is still better if you wanna maximize ur dmg.
