@Lancer: i already explained why i kept using the ring. The dear near-bis GF you talk about was still running around one-rotating 2k toons that got no chance to defend or fight back, even when the match was over and clearly won by him and his team. And that's also what many BiS players do. To boost their K/D ratio. He just kept killing. I use the ring because, that way, those BiS stompers cannot have their way with my 2k toon.
Fair-Play? Is it fair play when 4k toons stomp or troll 2k toons? NO.
Just to be clear again: the fact that it's been like this since module 1, does not mean that it's how it should work. It means that there's a flaw in the system, the matchmaking system the devs created to try and make PvP more "fair". Since it doesn't work, you BiS competitive PvPers "assumed" that PvP was "your thing", and that it needed to work in a competitive way for EVERYONE.
WRONG. It works like this because it's flawed, this is not a PvP-centered game, thus not a competitive PvP model per-se. Works like that due to devs lack of interest in the mode, and incompetence. The competitive PvP players exploited this to make PvP competitive FOR EVERYONE. Aka "you must be geared, you must be BiS, or we have the right to do everything we want". "We go premade because the game allows us to, and even if it's unfair, well, it's your fault for not being BiS or in a premade".
    This is your fair play.
My fair play is that when a 3.5k GF, or other BiS toon, tries to amuse himself killing a 2k toon over and over, i have the right to use any method i can find to point my middle finger at him. Because HE is the one who is not playing fair.

This said, you again missed the fact that it was the BiS GF who PMed me saying i was "bad" and "unfair" for using the stealth ring.

I have 1000x times more fair play than 99% of the competitive PvP players. I never stomp, i never pick on low gear toons, i never use broken sh*t on my main, and as soon as i see the enemy team has no chance or will to fight, i ask them if they want to cap for reward, without forcing them to some idiotic "GG" rule to make me feel powerful.

Don't come at me talking about fair play dude. I went through module 6 with normal enchants when all of the so called "biS" were running around with the blatantly overperforming T.Neg-T.Fey combo, farming GG with premades ruining the experience for the rest of the playerbase.

And it makes me laugh when someone first laughs at me if i don't use T.Fey, stomps 2k toons with a near-bis toon EXPLOITING A FLAW IN MATCHMAKING (which is what every geared toon is doing when he stomps a 2k players in PvP. You EXPLOIT the undeserved chance to kill an enemy that was put against you by a FLAW IN THE SYSTEM), then comes at me complaining when i slot an invisibility ring on my 2k alt, evading his "fair" stomping.
And as i stated, using the stealth ring allows me to dodge these D-bags and cap to 600 so i get my reward.

I do dailies with my HR, and since 99% of the BiS guys i meet are D-bags, i started taking counter-measures cause i can't waste hours for no reward to amuse these guys.
Here comes a story about it:

    @sayajin:
let me remind you this. Your 2.8k CW with legendary main hand, stomping my 2k pug team with his 3k mates 1000-0 in a match, making my team get no reward and waste time. And the last thing in that match was your 2.8k CW and a 3k OP ganging up on my 2.4k HR just before the match ended.

1000-0 and you kept stomping dude, after i wrote 2 TIMES IN SAY CHAT "guys, it's 500-0, you can stop" and "guys, it's 600-0, you can stop". We were not attacking. You kept stomping

1000-0 and you kept attacking, and the last thing of the match was you gaing up on my 2k toon who came down without attacking.

Now talk to me again about your fair-play HAMSTER guys.
    Stop being hypocrites.

As i said: i'll unslot the ring on my alt when all the so called "competitive PvPers" will unslot their HAMSTER, allow 2kers the honor of reward/ daily after a fight, and stop going premade until PvP is repopulated and all the things you listed, actually happen.

Until then, all i read is

"BiS PvP players have the right to stomp and play around with less geared players, but less geared players have no right to go invisible and avoid the stomping".
You say that BiS stomping a 2k toon "is the game"? That T.Fey "is the game"? Well, stealth ring is the game too.

so you were tryin to exploit your way for easy rAD and glory right?
^ this is how stupid you sound.

More like BiS PvPers exploit the flaws in matchmaking that allow them to stomp my 2k HR, so i take countermeasures dude.

"BiS players can stomp and do whatever they want exploiting flawed matchmaking and overperforming items, but the ones being stomped have no right to avoid that"

And also "BiS players go PUG PvP in groups for fast daily vs 2k pugs, exploiting their way for easy RAD and glory. PUGs must stay silent and take it".

What you're basically saying is that 4k BiS toons have the right to stomp 2k toons and then blame them for being weak, because the game allows such matchmaking, but 2k toons must not try to avoid that fate or they are "unfair" and "exploiting".

This is how stupid and hypocritical YOU sound.

Call me back the day my 2k HR gets to actually face other 2k toons in PvP.
Until that day, it's the BiS guy who stomps, the one who is exploiting. And you're being hypocritical when you say that a BiS toon with overperforming "BiS" gear has his "right" to use his gear to stomp 2k toons through flawed matchmaking, but the 2k toon must use what YOU say is ok to use in PvP to do not upset the BiS crowd.

until that day we have to explain and over explain towards casual players the basics of competitive pvp, over and over, since they stick their nose where they do not want to participate.

Dude, let me repeat it again: casual players are not sticking their nose where they "do not want to partecipate".
Casual players go play one of the game modes they have the right to play, in a game that is NOT supposed to be PvP-centered, thus not "competitive".
Basically, Lancer, competitive PvP took control over PvP and DECIDED THEMSELVES it was going to be competitive. Not by design. But simply because the system, as you pointed out, is "flawed".
And in fact, PvP is empty. If it was a competitive PvP game, you would have a huge competitive community playing PvP and some PvE. Instead, you have a huge community playing PvE, and 40 players sticking to their concept of "competitive PvP" which caused PvP to get empty.

It's competitive PvPers who sticked their nose in a PvE centered game and exploited the flaws in the system to turn PvP in their own concept of competitive PvP. The point is, you got the misconception that this is how the game should work because the design flaws and lack of interest by the devs, allowed it to be that way.
Exactly. You see how the devs care about PvP? It's 80% PvE in this game. Should ring a bell to you competitive PvPers about the fact that YOU are the "guests" "exploiting" this lack of design and attention to, basically, morph PvP in your "competitive" concept.

So, the way i see it, it's not the casual players "sticking their nose where they don't want to partecipate".
It's casual players trying to do some casual PvP in a game that is supposed to have casual PvP, and end up bullied by this small competitive PvP community that is exploiting the design flaws and lack of interest from the devs, to control PvP.

    "Causal players" tried it all.

Gauntlgrym? It was farmed and pillaged by BiS premades until it got empty. Now takes a lot to pop.
SH siege? Again, farmed and pillaged by full BiS PvP guilds then left to rot with all its flaws and lag.
What still only pops is Domination.

These competitive PvPers broke the toy dude. Exploited the flaws so much for their own "competitive" interest that the toy is now broken. There's nowhere to go.

So these competitive PvPers might start thinking that, until a competitive mode/ queue is implemented, they are "guests" in PUG (aka casual) PvP, and that if they keep doing what they did so far, PvP will die once and for all. It's already 90% dead, which should suggest you that what i say is right.

by the way lancer, you should be a high ranked member in absolute with (at least i suppose) some decision and leading power.
when advocating in public what is considered a fair pvp environment and what s not, as one of the oldest (absolute and eoa, the only one really left) pvp guilds i would expect a clear behaviour trend.
you understand my surprise when i see for example a certain paladin running an orange ambush ring.
so in the end everyone is apparently free to wear whatever piece of gear they want regardless where they come from and their item level.
and pando...you are really exaggerating with this discussion which is going nowhere.

Pando isnt exaggerating its that people are actually coming here and trying to defend their slack behavoir with all sorts of excuses. The game is dead and you guys are playing against no one so its really just trying to give you guys a reality check since from the posts people are under the perception that theyre competing or something against a reasonable amount of people Otherwise post wouldve died 2 days ago.

It´s all about fairplay and about lot´s of player who obviously do not care.
It´s a small insight in the average attitude and agressions some people carry into PVP.
All caused by this company in a dead corner of this game.
I ask myself where to find anything like fun going PVP, since nine out of ten matches are not --> matched
