How can I escalate an issue that support did not resolve?

I was perma banned for something I did not do, I explained the situation to the rep but seems he didn't read my explanation, didn't care, or didn't believe me. According to support my account was found to have used an alternate account to buy astral diamonds from a 3rd party website and to conceal it. This is simply not true, i explained to this person that all i did was log in to that account in question at the request of my guild leader to place a listing on the astral diamond exchange. Few days later that account ended up getting banned because HE had purchased AD prior to me even having logged onto that account, guessing this got my IP flagged or something and my account ended up getting banned as well. I received NOTHING from that other account or any account, I had not part in HIM buying AD but still I was banned as if I was guilty. How can I get this resolved if the support would not even try to verify that my account never was involved in any of those things in question? I have no idea what to do to resolve this issue.

Technically you were a party to an illegal purchase. Even though you didn't profit from it you facilitated the exchange - this of course is why the other person asked YOU to do it rather than them do it themselves.

I don't know if there is an appeal system but try emailing customer service and ask for the case to be reviewed by someone in a supervisory position.

In the meantime this should serve as a lesson that regardless of relationships, if anyone asks you to do something that could break the rules you should say no - if there wasn't a possibility of getting busted/banned they would do it themselves. It's a bit like someone asking you to carry their bag through customs....

This opens up a concern for anyone that plays on a shared home network with anyone else. How far reaching is the level of accountability?

Do it fast to because i read the whole policy agreement before and i recall something about a timeline before the account is erased off the servers.

The shared home network is not a problem, the problem in this case is that his account was part of an illegal AD purchase. So as long as someone on your home network does break any rules, then all of your toons are fine.

As for OP, its just like the first person said. Even though it was not you who had purchased the AD illegally, you were still the "middle man". Thus you were perma-banned and I have yet to see someone get un-perma-banned for cheating the system. You can try, but I honestly don't see anything you can do. Maybe start playing ESO.

If they were perma banned it should stay just that...perma. Clearly they violated the rules, knowingly or not, so they should be permabanned. They are going to come back after 7 days and still have all the stuff they obtained illegally and just laugh at the devs.
