Guild finder tags

Using guild finder with only the tags of pve, friendly and newbie, only turned up 5 hits. I find that kind of alarming, or is the community too serious or hate newbies?

search is broken, do it multiple times and you'll find different results with the same criteria

I find that if you select languages e.g. English you get more results
There are more than BIS players in this game
RIP Real Tiamat, RIP Real Demogorgon RIP real Temple of the spider. Why remove non bis content to give to bis players ????
FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base
Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

Guild finder doesn't work properly... Extremely bugged out... Ask or look for guild recruitment in chats

If you looking for a guild mercs still has 110 open spots and the 40 people who are in it are all active :)

Guilds hate newbies. It's the direct response to the 150 account limits.

We have a 40 level limit for example. And only for those actively playing.

There are still complete casual guilds out there anyway.

Perhaps you can speak for your own guild... my guild, in no way, hates newbies. We all started somewhere, and every one of us remembers that... we have some of the most helpful and patient members, and even give full members a 50% mount if they need one.

So before making global generalized statements, you should only speak for yourself... not for everyone.

    Thanks.

    Must agree one this one.

Regardless, in my guild we love newbies, we sign them a standard contract where they relinquish their soul to us, give them minimal gear and throw them into the influence pits with rest of the slaves... er friends. yes, dear new friends !
With a mortality rate of 90% in those said influence mine/pits we always have free room and welcome them with open arms ! \o/

And pff... 50% mount... mounts are dangerous, you can fall of one and hurt yourself or others !

we have shiny and nice feet cuffs !

We don't want anyone running around, falling and hurting themselves! We care for your health !

And on additional note, I never thought someone actually uses the finder, I even never bothered to set the tags.

350 players in a casual guild would mean 70% are inactive. lol

Even guilds that do use descriptive tags primarily focus on the tags that accurately describe any special qualities prospective members might want (like a primary language other than English), and not really generic ones that apply to about 80% of guilds. Assuming that not more than 20% of guilds require members be level 70 and geared enough for T2/eDemo/high-end PvP. Possibly less than that.

Point being, the majority of guilds are newbie-friendly to the extent that most of them aren't going to advertise as such. It's pretty much implied unless stated otherwise. Guilds that are NOT newbie friendly (due to being focused on high-end content) are going to be really up-front about their requirements.
