The one thing I missed from the first moment in this game is an option to switch between specs
playing a faithfull DC I hated the fact that it took ages to farm some rp or getting through content
playing a Warlock it would be a great help to have an option chosing between a damagetree and a supporter tree, pugging you allways run into groups that lack either the one or the other
being a GWF...ok at least you can chose between a PVE and a PVP spec, without getting stomped , and by that lot´s of player would probably step more into PVP
at least you could make it an VIP Option, that would be really nice
Dual Spec - I really miss that 48 votes
I do not need it, my build is perfect

A. it's a lot more work than it seems. No plans for it right now. Trust me, it's been brought up here and there. It's something we'd love to see, and get in game, but if we add it to the game, we want it to be a feature worth showing off to the players. So it will take time."
found it thank you
doesn´t sound very promising (mod 20) ....
from my experience it is a big push for improving the gameexperience, so a poll can underline that

running PVP with a PVE spec sucks
running PVE with a PVP spec sucks
runnnig dungeons without a supporter healer sucks
farming content/rp with a healer spec sucks
faming content with a tanking spec sucks
having two builds to chose between, switching from one to the other, let´s say spending 5k AD by that, would improve gameexperience by far, would help PVP, would help getting a tank or heal in lfg very fast ala "hey take me, i respec for a second" and I am sure would let player spend a lot of AD for that purpose, in case they feel the need or wish to do so
at least once a day I wish to respec, but in the sum I only do it about every 3 month because it´s too expensive
Imo there are lot´s of advantages, talking about hybrid classes Tank/Healer, being forced to either suck in moving through content like farming rp (this game is all about that) or suck in tanking/healing.
We have a community that is devided in PVE and PVP, noone joins PVP with a PVE build and and in case he does he will get stomped most time and loses any interest.
I can´t see the big disadvatages, I only can understand if someone said he doesn´t want to get things that easy.
First, this game is based on the pen&paper D&D game - and there you make your decisions as you progress and have to live with them....the closest thing to a "dual spec" is with shape-shifting, where you have some abilities in humanoid form and others in animal form, but that's it.
Second, this would bring even more power-creep into the game - things are bad enough as they are.
What I would like, however, is the ability to switch between different configurations of powers and gear more easily.
As it is, I have basically 5 configurations:
1) Solo play
2) Pugs-trash
3) Pugs-bosses
4) high-geared groups-trash
5) high-geared groups-bosses
I don't PvP, but if I did, there would be a 6th configuration for that.
I would be willing to pay a reasonable bit of Zen for "configuration slots" that would allow me to switch between those configurations with a single click.
builds differ a lot, boons includet etc
I personally feel that there really is no need for such to be in the game and in MMOs that have it, I rarely even use it there. Yet on the same hand, I also can understand why so many would want it and while I would rarely use such a feature, I cannot think of a worth-while reason to disagree with it ever being implemented In Neverwinter. So, that is why I voted for the first choice even though it doesn't accurately reflect my opinion on Dual Specs.

1. I have to grind rp, my char has to improve, sadly I need about 2 hours to kill stuff being an AC-faithfull DC -->I need a damage spec to do so, but since I have no time and AD to spend 300zen every time I just do not proceed in boons or content, sadly
2. I want to do PVP, sadly my build is made for PVE, going PVP I get stomped in short time by maxed player, this experience leads to the effect
--> I do no PVP with that char because its no fun at all
3. I want to play a full healer , thats my actual spec f.e. and that´s the only way to play atm, running dungeons and giving support
---> I am tired of doing all day PVE dungeons , wich is boring af and switch the game, since I have to spend too much time/AD for just doing things I want to do the moment I spend my free time in this mmo
comparing the situation to other games:
1. I probably do not have that ammount of grind to proceed ingame, so there is not much need to switch my spec all day
2. there is probably enough contnent in PVE to get entertained, but since PVP is the only endcontent in this game , and it´s near dead I would really love to take part...but since my build sucks and the matchmaking is poor, having 3-4 GG matches a day, I just stay out
it is so obvious why flexibility in specs would be an improvement for this game, that I really can´t understand nor see any argument why it should be not benefitial
For someone who only wants to play one character all the time- and wants that character to be support role type character I can see how the solo game could be annoyingly time consuming right now.

1. I need to swap all my gear (PvP set, rings, enchants)
2. Need to swap 2 encounteres, 1 daily, 1 at-will. This sucks.
3. And finally, my build sucks for PvP (just for example moving 5 points I will get 25% more damage in PvP but it's totally useless feat in PvE).
Going through the above 2 points combined with all the usual problems in PvP and knowing my build is bad, and I can't even try stuff, like other path, feats or anything because it will ruin it for PvE just makes it not worth it.
More than that, this will allow people to tinker with their build more easily, and compare their new changes with the old.
This may increase the demand for respec tokens and will be a win for everyone.
I respec a lot (at least used to) and this will return some fun, and even perhaps make me play an alt like CW (I wanted to play MoF a bit, but I dont want to respec from SS)
About the game being to easy:
I don't believe this is what will solve it either way, on the contrary, this will help level the difficulty on solo play and allow more difficult content in group play as a sort of global balancing. If a DC (for example) can swap between heals / debuff or dps (2 out of those), their solo play will be on-par with the rest. And players who don't need to compromise on their group play so they manage solo dailies, are more effective.
So yes, this will allow the players to play better, and imo, it's a very good thing, what need to be adjusted is the group play difficult.
