Interaction delay is intolerable

I dont know how many maps have this problem but it's really bad in Dread Ring and Well of Dragons. There is a delay of eternity a second, sometimes two, before interacting with NPCs, loot drop, nodes, etc. It's infuriating. FIX IT.

edit: especially the black ice nodes, took so long i didnt even finish mining before the monsters respawned. you should be ashamed at how poorly done the black ice node interactions are. just sloppy. >.<

    It is because the game has been lagging it's <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> off for the last 4 days...​​

    No, it's NOT lag, the game runs smoothly, there is just a delay in responding to the mouse over.

    Just like Cryptic, no response.

    I just spent 10+ full ****ing seconds waiting to pick up a loot drop. this completely ruins the flow of the game! let me put it in other words - IT'S NOT FUN! FIX IT!

    Yeah the servers are pretty bad in some of the campaign areas once the instance fills up w/ other players. If ur getting lotsa lag on using powers or interacting w/ stuff, ya may want to try changing to a lower-pop instance first.

    Yeah but than again I have no lag in Sharandar even if the instance is nearly full.
    At the same time there are huge delays in WOD or DR even with 14 ish people in the instance.

    Frankly, I do not care, not should I...what causes these lags, I agree they should go away asap.

    I set foot back in IWD today on an alt to grind a bit to upgrade black ice professions. It was so annoying. Minimum 5-10 second to interact with anything. Wait like 5 seconds for the item to start to glitter, then wait like another 5 seconds before being able to interact. I only need two more days to grind, but I can't image how any one grinding boons do it every day. It's enough to make you want to poke you eyes out.

    To me, it has seemed enormously better, though I did get a bit of a brief period of rubberbanding earlier.

    Still, DR and IWD are no longer nearly unplayable, for me. During a recent Twitch stream, they said that if it was a pathfinding issue, it should get better with the most recent patch we had, and a lot of people do seem to be finding it better.

    What helped me enormously was turning off all my Desktop Visual Enhancements, weekend I still get a lot of latency in DR and Sharandar sometimes but during the week I hover over loot I can pick it up immediately.
