So judging by the Regen is worthless and this is only for people who like to see higher #'s responses in this thread, then I'm only going to see a couple of these guys around town... yeah, right, thats whats gonna happen ;)

I am sure people will buy it because it's cute, because they still use augments and they like it, etc.

I'm *thinking* about it, knowing full well it's not BiS. But I realized I have to hear one first, because if I can't stand to have it summoned so I can see it, there's no point. I am hopeful because they can speak common, and it shouldn't destroy my sanity like the slaads and lizardfolk shamans.

Good point. I'll be buying one as well, because I collect companions, but I hope it doesn't become tiresome after a while like the lizardfolk shaman. I *love* the shaman's demeanor, but it would be awfully nice if he would quiet down after a while the way the pseudodragon does.

I enjoy the shaman's jazz hands, but not his penchant for gargling snot.

It would be nice, if those ZEN Shop companions would at least come as an account wide unlock...
I do believe in killing the messenger...
    Want to know why?
    Because it sends a message!

There are lots of companions that give % to incoming healing, no use for this and the selfbuff is bound to the drow/dusk armor so, meh.

No use for this, ofc buy one if u just want it cos its new

And im waiting for the New Life lockbox companions :)

I don't need this new companion.
Still don't understand why time is spent to develop a companion like this one and not to fix more important things...

Yup i agree a great idea, bad performance with regen being about as useless most of the time as LIfesteal cuz they are broken!!!
he should say "i am quasi excited to meet you master"

Oh boy, regen, the developers' favorite way to ruin everything with uselessness!

It's insulting how they keep pushing out regen and we keep having to remind them that regen is useless these days. Either make regen relevant again, or get rid of it from all future development (and preferably all pre-existing items; give them life steal, or incoming healing, or literally anything other than this; gold bonus is more valuable).

ohohohoh the memories... quasit was my very first familiar in AD&D back in 1989.... later I wanted to race change into quasit but the DM didn't allow it ... so I used my wish to regrow my severed arm lol...

+5 Was always my favorite familiar. If it wasn't a regen machine a la Cryptic, I would go for it. Regen in this game is broken and works counter to every game I've ever played.

Regeneration eh? It's almost like the devs don't play this game sometimes.

I really wish the reason why they chose regeneration is because they don't want to keep pushing the pay-to-win model, but i think they're long past that already. This is just the first in the line of new companions with much higher stats. Of course, you would want to start with the crappiest stat and work your way up....
I've been fighting saying this for a long time, I really have, because I don't want to see another Mod 6 disaster, but there's no need for "much higher stat" anything in game. Except for PVP, which sucks anything down with a long straw.

They could instead make older pets disappear from the market and replace them with quasits, imps, whatever--at the same stat level or just a little better. Then the older ones become more valuable and the newer ones can be appreciated on their own merits.
