    My point is, if you are too good or too geared for PVE, quit complaining and go do PVP. That will show you that you are not THAT good as your ego tells you and you will have a challenge.

    @defiantone99 you still have not provided a valid reason, across every single thread you raise this point, as to WHY you should HAVE to do pvp if you want a challenge? Why should there be no challenge in PVE content, I don't care to play pvp, if I wanted to play pvp I would be playing different games, you know, games that have good pvp. As you have raised this point on multiple occasions and have yet to back it up, I can only assume you are trolling.
    You seem to be stalking. Do you really have to follow me thread to thread being so obnoxious.
    Actually, I wasn't following you,, I was commenting about a thread on dungeon difficulty and you happened to be in it. You find the content too difficult, I find the content too easy. Maybe, rather then complaining, you should go to some effort to learn about the mechanics of the game and it won't be so difficult for you anymore. Buffs (like itf) are not an exploit, debuffs (like condemned) are not an exploit, working together with a solid team is not an exploit and all of these things, together, make this game easy.

    Is what eCC is like with a 2k team. Spot the difference, ill give you a clue, the 2nd fight is 11 minutes long, the first fight is under a minute (its actually 8 seconds of fighting when the boss is not immune).

    Now, I am not asking for the existing dungeons to be made harder, I am asking for new content, to be aimed towards 3-4k players and for those dungeons to be harder. Is that unfair for the playerbase? no. It gives people a reason to gear up other then for "just the sake of gearing up". However, that content would have to have decent rewards.

    Even with a 2k team, the current t2's are easy for a 2k team that works as a team. Working together, knowing your class and playing with other people and not alone is why premade teams succeed and random groups do not. Is it pleasant playing with randoms? No, because they don't play as a team. Is there a reason for there to be no challenging pve content? no, in fact, above, you once again failed to provide one. Games like path of exile have it and they thrive, which is evident that adding challenging content will not kill the game.

    okay, here what i think might be cool.

    we have regular epic dungeons, and some are coming back in few months as devs made promises, i hope they kept.
    ok, now, the "hardmode" version of current dungeon would have some feature scripts, i know no one like unbalance Risk vs Rewards.
    bigger cash drops.
    some quality blue/purple profession materials.
    health kits.
    higher value gems (no peridots or pearls).

    adding proposal.
    add tier 2 resource kits, openable only by specific class.
    1. random chances of epic value gems
    2. random chance of epic refine stones
    3. random chance of shards

    tier 2 version hardmode chest reward
    1. random chance of greater/superior marks
    2. random chance of high grade shard gem
    3. random chance of rank 7 runes/enchants
    4. extra amount of seals
    5. 1-2 high value gems (no white/green tier)
    6. dragon egg or other.

    unless if someone has better idea, let's roll and have fun.

    The marks alone would make it worth going through a dungeon over and over again for me. But only the greater/superior ones.

    The challenges in PvP atm are:

    1. Play the right class.
    2. Be in the right guild (T2 AP/stamina drain).
    3. Get the right rings.
    4. Get decent gear and build for PvP.
    5. Have a decent ping.
    6. Ltp.

    You can ignore No. 6, if you maxed out on 1-5, if you dont have to fight some PvP players, who check all 6 boxes. I used to like playing PvP, but I stopped 2 Mods ago.

    Why should ther not be a higher tier of dungeons, with better rewards, to keep players with good gear and basic understanding of mechanics occupied? This would give them something to do and the casual players a reason to get better.

    The MMO I played before had 3 tiers. Only a hand full of dedicated players were able to clear tier 3, but the rest were able to play the lower tiers and benefited from the expirience the tier 3 players shared with them.

    Most ppl playing this game would have a significant 'AHA'-moment, if they would watch the video thefabricant posted and ask themself 'if this is a speedrun, why did they not run with 5 BIS GWFs?'.

    As long as there is not an increased reward for the new tier.

    I honestly don't like the idea overall because another way to do an already tired assed dungeon does not sound very exciting to me.

    There should be better rewards, to compensate for the higher amount of time spent to finish the dungeons. When a T2 run is done in 10 minutes and a T2 HM run in 1 hour, the T2 HM run deserves better loot, than the T2 run.

    Old dungeons could get interesting again, bc they would ask for tactic and teamplay instead of 'burn it down'. You would have to open the caskets in VT again, for example. I ran VT a few days ago and, as a joke, posted 'I take 12-3' in the party chat. One guy got it, one guy thought, I want to troll, and two party members did not even know, that there is (was) a mechanic for this bossfight.

    assed should have been linked with tired as in tired-assed. It is a slang for "repetitive". Please encourage them to spend time making new dungeons instead of encouraging them to recycle content that will be "too easy" again in 6 months.

    Running the same vanilla dungeon over and over on greater difficulty sounds horrible to me.

    Thanks for everione for up the thread and for your support. If someone else would like to see hard and "not casual" content could you please write your oppinion or ideas here. Seems like developers of Neverwinter Online are realy awesome in reading our (players) feedback. So, the more players will show their desire to feel really challenging content the more chances all of us will have to enjoy it.

    Totally agree... unfortunately the trend at Cryptic is to make dungeons shorter and take less time to finish. They seem to be catering to the "short attention span" crowd rather than those that enjoy a nice long dungeon crawl.

    well yes and no.. YES fine, bring back harder stuff. No if it means seals and salvage.. Aint worth the bother.. ill just keep running t1s until there is a reason to run something else.. except for random fun. Its like t2s now.. even though they are not hard at all.. they HAVE nothing that has any use in them. So why run them?

    Unrewarding is JUST as much of a problem as TOO easy.. They are two peas in a pod.

    Casual player here, so I'll apologize in advance if I sound too sensible. The T1 and T2 Dungeons are fine and challenging enough as they are, especially for people slowly obtaining the gear as they go. I would think T3 and up dungeons would be appropriate for folk who are already rockin' BiS gear/enchants that need more challenge.

    and what of the poor people inbetween.. (you know around 2.8k to 3.5k I levels)

    so between R8 and r11 or so, we just sit around and do t1s for 6 months while we get enough gear to go further?

    Problem 1. they were stupid and led advancement get WAY out of hand. People wouldve paid for 5% increases, vs 500% increases in the same 3 months !
    Problem 2. I dont know if they can fix it..
    Problem 3.. IMPOSSIBLE to design a game with the curves of power progression they have.. its not just hard.. its impossible.
    Problem 4. Scaling rewards are NOT in game.. not at all.. RNG is .. you get the same RNG roll apparently on bronze rewards as gold. I cant trust them to say.. take average I level of your party and scale hardiness and rewards.. because they ALREADY shown they cant seem to figure out rewards to players.

    However, if they COULD scale rewards to average party and increase difficulty for said part.. that would be a simple solution (hit category A, B or C.. game gives you a 30% increase of difficulty every time.. so mobs are doing 60% more damage! but you get

    60% more AD , REWARDS, seals and increase of random RNG rolls.

    these are the OUT of the box type of things that will fix this.

    hmmm, I say yes for longer dungeon crawl, but same time difficulty in dungeon shuold be lined with End Boss eg. many partys can complete eCC to End Boss, but they fail legit finish. This was not problem before(Before powercreep and dungeon removal).

    not all games are the same, what i really like in my experience is having some zones with really hard enemies with high value drops. If "solo zones" is even better. I want personal challenges not group related ones.
    But well this is dnd so i guess group runs is what we are supposed to do. Sadly the rewards is 0, the challenge is 0 ( and with those rewards better be like that).
    When higher reward is offered, everyone drops the same limited set of things and they sell for nothing.
    If the rng does its job, price is high, players are stressed and unwilling to farm.

    why games like diablo do not suffer this?
    People the drop is not that rare but their stats are randomized!

    with the rewards they offer i really do not care of having challenges.
    the faster the better.

    PVP in NW? Sure.....the "best balanced" feature ingame. Coward rings, AP glyphs, buggy skills...etc...etc...

    Before some players did say, -Dungeons too long, but havent see word "too hard" before disaster mod6.

    Before most "random" -teams has chance to complete most T1/T2 if they just listening, but after mod6 this chance became very thin.

    ...fabricated perfected 2K -teams and speedruns, :), try something what happens after one or two month play with totally random teams and I find out that current dungeons are too hard, too short more likely need old Spell plaague caaverns run - what takes time, need team and is doable.

    Current eCC is fun to do with perfect teams or just pit poor Traven, both method are accepted if must run that content.

    I can't believe how many people are complaining that the dungeons are too easy! I have over 100 Epic Dungeon keys sitting unused in my inventory because Epic Dungeons can't be completed by a queued party. That is ridiculous. I don't have the time, energy, or money to waste with a guild that requires an insane amount of participation or AD every month. I have responsibilities and this is my stress reliever. Can't there be at least one epic level dungeon that is able to be completed by a queued party?!?!?
