the pvp just gets worse, these higher level guilds make it worse and exploit how bad it is, for me, who just pvp for fun or to break up the daily grind, its annoying coming up against teams like denial, look good play good, who use the pug queue all day long to increase there stats, when the teams are obvious unfair they tee bag, jump around like noobs, you know its really fun lol, ok and why should i get a 30 min penalty for leaving a game like this, its ok for nooooobs to leave the pve queue because theres no bubble to hold there hand........................this game brings the worst community from PC who just want to exploit, i would give this game up, before joining one of thses so called top guilds.
not all guildies from top guild runs with a pally...depends on those individual guildies from the top guild, some of them doesn't like to die and will only do pvp if there's a healer or pally in the pre-made. i can say 90% of the pre-made that i'm in doesn't have a pally...we even go with a certain big pre-made guild yesterday, they have 3 healer, a gwf and a pally and we still win them as we have a better teamwork in taking nodes and know how to rotate tho i messed up during the first 1 min but i'm able to correct that and we won them by a lot of points. well i'm sure u know how boring the dom match is especially with 3 healers a pally and gwf but our team able to get 6 kills because of teamwork and timing of our daily to kill the opponent.
Pally:I have no problem in having classes tankier than others, but I think they overdo it with Pallys. And pallys giving too much immunity or healing is kinda meh. I also think gift of faith should not exist, or it should have a cooldown. It is kinda bs too. TBH, some DCs are tankier than tanks. I think a healer should be a healer, not an immortal tank that can heals.
TR: I still think that TRs need some reworking. It is kinda BS they have a higher deflection severity than other classes when other classes don't have any other stats buff. Or at least give something to other classes. Idk, maybe a CW starts with a natural control bonus, something like that. SE shoud be reworked to not pierce everything.; It is kinda Bs it does pierce everything when now we have so many things that give ap gain (kits, artifacts, mounts). Hight power builds TR hit up to 150k SE. Now you give stealth to this class, and a lot of CC from smokebomb, and you really gain an advantage if you bring 2 of these guys plus 3 supports against any other premade.
I also think HRs shouldn't have a perma stun build. Other than that they are well balanced I believe.

On PC side, they are claiming that GFs base damage should be lowered by 20%. GWFs I think overall balance is good, but if the other changes above were addressed, I would agree to a slight damage nerf on the class (at same time they could make the other paths more useful). Although, GWF is only good because it is kinda carried by negation and feytouch (people have a hard time to understand that).
CWs I think is probably the only and most balanced class right now to be fair. I think they really shouldn't mess with this class. I kinda think a class like this have chaotic growth is kinda meh to be honest.
SW. Clearly, they need a buff. Some can pull out good dmg and survival in PvP thanks to high rates of LS. But let's be fair, they only kill stuff if they glitch. They depend too much on the lostmauth set synergy . Which is bad, a class should not depend of an exclusive item or enchantment to be at least a little bit viable (check negation feytouch gwf situation above).

I don't think negation or feytouch should be nerfed. But I do believe except Terror, the other weapons enchantments should be rework to perform better. I know it is probably hard to do it, but it would be great if there were other good enchantments so there are more build options:
EQUIPMENT: There are new sets coming, and etc. I think they could create a pvp profession where we could ADD Lions mande equal tenacity to any piece of gear. By allowing this, we could have a higher gamma of different pvp gears a n d possibilities, just like 1 and 2 were. There were so many sets with different bonus and stuff, and pvp was a lot more balanced and diverse IMO.
Domination: Clearly, they changed the contest system to address the fact pallys and dcs don't die, so matches wont take 2, 3 hours anymore. However, this was a very lazy change. Because there is not much playing a pvp match where stuff just don't die and the pvp match is a bunch of people running like crazy from point to point. If they address the overpowered healing and tankness situation, they could bring the old domination contest mode back. could of bring new maps with environmental interaction such as holes or traps. not so linear maps of domination.

Asylum is the type of guild that only does premades and proceeds to spawn trap for the whole game. Everytime I play with or against them it's basically 10 min of doing nothing.
I see you guys doing premades in lv 10 pvp, and I just got out of a lv 30 pvp game with a whole premade team from asylum. Really? What is the point of that?
well this is just my opinion....lots of guildies in general play with their friends in pre-made, i for one try to prioritize and invite our guildies to pvp so that they are not feeling left out or ignored. you also see other asylum pre-made running with other guildies/friends. in this game is all about IL/GS and rotation, i'm very confident to say any1 that can get their IL to 3K and get their build right and knows how to rotate in pvp, any random team u play with will b much more enjoyable in the 70's as long as u don't come across troll comp of more than 2 healer or 2 pally then it will be fun instead of boring. don't get me wrong as i also know a lot of good players that is guildless or from small guild that knows how to rotate n the right build of their class and i have come across some of this guys while playing random on my lv 40 gf.

don't think the devs is gonna do any special changes only for xb1 after all, what they have done for the previous changes is just porting everything over from PC without even bother to do anything else, love the quotes that PC player have of "never work only profit"
Pretty spot on, i would just like to note that the elephant in the room as far as dps goes is the lol set. There are talks of nerf or buff other sets, but as far as pvp goes, cw, gwf, and sw benefit the most, particularly sw and gwf. I know for sw, without lol set, we are basically useless no matter the spec, gwf, it is not uncommon to see vengeance hits for 10-30 k from a gwf in my logs. I know alot of ppl are saying balance the classes first, but imo, you cant balance them when there is clearly an unbalanced item of this magnitude.
indeed it is true. To be honest, in xbox I think I am theonly PvP gwf that don't use lostmauth set. I actually use the CON belt, and just because of my build's nature, I don't really lose DPS. I actually do more DPS because my build is based on yellow damage rather than crits ( i have 15% crit chance) only for a GWF.
But the others GWFs with higher crit chance, it is indeed strong. in PvE it is game breaking because mobs dont have Critical damage resistance. I decided to not depend of lostmauth set so Iam ready when they do something about it.

The only way to "balance" them at this point would be to literally half the damage of TS or make the eLoL set only proc off of encounters that crit and treat it like Spellstorm was nerfed and prevent it from critting or proccing class features. I don't use elol set, so for me it wouldn't even affect me. CON belt all the way, and probably will try that new coming set. might be better for my game style. Although I agree that we do strong at wills damage, you have to remember it is challenging playing GWF. To do high damage you must keep all the damage stacks up (50% increase from destroyer's purpose when you get unstoppable, this one is easier to keep up because it lasts 20 seconds). the remaining is 38% from focused destroyer, and this one is challenging to keep up (i am talking about pvp). It is challenging because there is only 25% chance to proc a stack, and you need 3 stacks to have the 38% bonus damage. not to mention that these stacks last less than 5 seconds, so you cc or run away pretty much make us lose that stack, and without that stack on top of the first one mentioned, we deal very low blows. Also, we depend on hidden daggers to buff our attack too, and unstoppable to deal more dmg on encounters too. not to forget that it is somehow easy to avoid our best damaging encounter IbS.
I already can't kill some warlocks, and some 1 x 1 versus some GFs and some TRs last an eternity, so I am not sure it would be fair to nerf our damage. we might be king of DPS in PVE (when spected for it), but we still can't out dps a pve only warlock, so I am not sure GWF is really a problem. I mean, I would totally be down for changes in the class as long as other mechanics in our class to be reworked. We need better CCs (our ccs have b een nerfed at the end of mod 3 in PC, and since then it was never reworked. All other classes had CC buffs and GWF still has the same old CC code from mod 3. takedown doesn't prone anymore, stuns for less than a second, does little damage. frontline surge has 17 seconds, low damage, and short stun also. as long as our CCs are reworked, yeah I could survive with less dps I guess. lol.
I'd allow players to have dual specs. A saved PvP point allocation that is active when the player is flagged for PvP.
Currently players spec'd for PvP are matched against PvE players. Not to mention some classes have better all-purpose builds than others. (Class balance issue.)
I really think the issue with PvP is the gear, it's so much less about skill than who is geared up/leveled up the most. Open world PvP is a great place for gear and bragging rights. I wish there was an option for the domination matches to be about team strategy and skill rather than gear and mounts.

It is only when teams of diferent gear score face each other. I wish that it was the only problem, but it is not. on high end game, the pvp is also broken. TRs 1 shotting people, ccing people to death, pallys being imortal and keeping everyone around them imortal, DCs pretty much being pallys.
low level pvp is fun and mostly balanced. they need to just do away with most of the extraneous HAMSTER and make it bare bones. high level weapon and armor enchants should be ineffective in pvp and they should have a limit to level 7 for the gems. PVP should not be something you should be able to buy up. other than low level pvp and stronghold siege pvp should just be nuked off the face of the map in this game imo as it stands.
I don't think taking away enchants, gear, mounts and all the other things ppl either paid for or worked for is the answer.
Why play an mmo if there is no end game? The reason we all play is to get the best and use the best. We don't play to get the best and then not be able to use it... That idea is just ludicrous.

Exactly! The whole point of PvP in this game is to have something for you to Pay to Win. NW seems to me that was never intended to have a PvP mode, but they put it in there anyway just for that reason.
