Auction Seems Screwed - My Highest Bid with 15s left said I successfully Made Bid But It Expired?

11s left I made highest bid, got this message in log: "[System Notify] You bid on the auction successfully!"

Then i watch and it 15s it says EXPIRED...

No item in my mailbox

Give it a little time as sometimes there is AH delivery lag. If the item never arrives and your AD isn't returned either (because last-second sniping happens), file a customer service ticket with the exact date and time the auction ended (or really near to), because they should be able to check logs and see that something went wrong.

Yep. Winning an item by an actual bid war is all about being the dude who succeeds in putting in a bid at the last fraction of a second. Which, if there's actually competition for it, requires a bit of guesswork. The game will reject your bid if it isn't sufficiently higher than the current bid, so you have to guess what other guys are bidding (if they're just using the game's automatic bid values then you just have to predict how many bids are going to be made) and make sure to bid high enough that the game accepts your offer.

Though if the OP not only didn't win the item but also never got his AD back, then that's definitely an error of some sort. If you're outbid you always get your bid sent back to you in a mail.

Why doesnt the thing update in real-time so we can see what the highest bid is?
